  1. We got one while on Vacation in the Pocono Mtns. And wife never took it out of her Bag...Going thru security in Boston they kept rescreening her bag and asked if there were any weapons. She said not that she knew of and gave them consent to search. That is what they targeted. Simple corkscrew/bottle opener - no knife or cutting surface. The year before that she got busted with a small pair of scissors.

    Yes Chicago security took my little simple corkscrew also as I forgot it in my bag :)

  2. Agreed

    We had our anniversary meal in Le Bistro in November. It was a perfect setting.

    I know that you can go and let the staff know beforehand that it is your anniversary and they will bring you a special dessert - or come out singing with your dessert in the same way as they will do for your birthday. I have been married to DH long enough to know that he would have stopped talking to me if I had arranged that. Enjoy your anniversary cruise.

    :eek: Yes, I would NOT like the singing either.

  3. Thanks for the review we are headed on the Epic the end of the month, we've only ever sailed NCL 1 other time. Love the door decor that's a great idea. Did you just tape the decorations to your door?

    Love the idea about the cups too, I'll have to think about picking some up before we go.

    Looking forward to our trip and just relaxing.

    Sorry --- What size of cup did you bring? :-)

  4. The $299.80 is the service charge on the beverage package that you chose as your Free at Sea option. The second figure is the DSC or daily service charge that is in lieu of gratuities to the crew. If you don't want to pay the First figure you can switch your perk to something other than the UBP.

    Unless you think that you will spend $300 for alcoholic beverage the UBP is not worth the cost.

    :D Well its $300 for both of us, so that is $150 each, and we might drink a beer or two or even three ;p each day and some wine to supper and so, so I guess it is worth the $300 for the drinks, then we don't have to think about that at least. :beer-toast::wine-glass:

  5. I just have a question now before I pay for our tickets.

    We booked a Adult Beverage Package and $299.80 was added to our Summary (as a Promo Srvc Charge)

    Do I also need to add Prepaid Service Charges to the total sum ($262.64) or is that in the $299.80?

    Or is the service charge $562.64 for 7 days? :confused:

  6. Had no issues in 14135, three rooms down. I would keep the larger balcony! The slide itself is rock solid and the "landing pool" is a few rooms further aft so any pump or equipment that could cause noise is not direct near your room, I think. Stick to the larger balcony. :)

    Keep in mind; It's always gamble in the end, cruising with a few thousand of your new best friends and that one noisy or loud neighbour always seems to be outside on the balcony whenever you are too. ;)

    Happy cruising!

    Thank you so much for you answer [emoji4]

  7. 14141 is an angled spa mini suite;

    The green slide end somewhere above/near your stateroom, here's a picture of that area on deck 15;

    Would this slide make it noisy in the cabin? I did think as it seems to be a bigger balcony, it was a great cabin to pick but now I get unsure :) Maybe we should pick on that is a lower number like 14117 , 14119, 14121 and so on. I mean, I don't want to pick the noisiest spa cabin now when I book so early ;) Maybe it is not so relaxing to sit on the balcany and have a glas of wine :champagne-toast: when people go down the slide. :ship:
