  1. We booked our cruise as soon as the itineraries were released because we were particular about cabin selection. All of our excursions were through private companies, not through the cruise line. We booked most of our excursions two or three months ahead of time. One we booked three weeks ahead and one was only two weeks ahead.

    Thanks for the info!

  2. Take a look and see what is available. Are you looking at round trip from Seattle or one way either from Vancouver or Seward? My recommendation would be south bound from Seward and if you are really interested in seeing Alaska - do a land tour along with the cruise. We have been there 4 times already and have the 5th one planned.

Thanks for the recommendation, I guess I need to do some more research - 4 times already, how nice!

  3. We are thinking of booking an Alaskan Cruise (w Royal Caribbean) for next June 2018. For an Alaskan cruise, is this considered late to be booking? Will the excursions be already filled up? If we don't go with the June 2018 cruise, how far in advance is a good time to book for Alaska (taking off from Vancouver)?

    Thanks!
