I wish I was on that one also, but no, I will be on the Mexican Rivera sailing 1/20/19 through 1/27/19 out of Los Angeles. I've read how to start a roll call about 10 times and followed it (so I thought) and no success. I had to wait until someone else started one & joined in. **********I don't know???????????????? Have a wonderful cruise anyways!!!!

Well, at least there is now a roll call for your cruise dates, even though it is not for my cruise, I know you will have a great time and meet a ton of wonderful people who surprisingly might end up being your new best friends.......that has happened on my last three NCL cruises.......we talk and FaceTime almost everyday and try to travel together whenever possible........Have a Great Cruise!!!!!!

I had a lot of trouble finding the roll call for the GEM on the 1/20 - 1/27 sailing. I didn't see one & tried to start one several times with no success. Don't know what the issues were. Possibly the same for you.

Thanx for sharing, obviously misery loves company. This is my fourth time getting on Cruise Critic for a "head start" and have never had such difficulty.....but, apparently you must enter the entire date of cruise, and it will just magically pop up, just can't remember the correct place to do that!!!!! But found you and that is good.....but perhaps we are not even on the same cruise........I was looking for 1/2-1/20 NYC to LA???? Is that the cruise you will be on?

I second the advice to join the roll call. I cruised solo for the first time in June... I got a little anxious as it drew nearer too... I had one of the best vacations I've ever had and can't wait to do it again. Go along to the solo meetups in the first couple of nights. Hope you have a great time!

Thanks for all the encouraging words......excited but nervous......Good to know that they will have solo meetups...when I called and asked NCL they were unsure and then I startedto freak out! Thanks again!!!!

I am Booked on the Getaway sailing date 9/10 to Baltic. First time ever that I will be traveling solo and find that I am more nervous about this than I would have thought. Anyone out there shceduled on this sailing please respond!!!!!!
