bigger bathroom....walk in shower with turbo jets on walls.
Room is same size.
Not worth it in my opinion....been in Both. save the money....spend it on an excursion or in the casino or something

Here's what I do.
Give your cabin Steward a $20 at the beginning of the cruise. You will never be happier.
Give the bartender at the pool bar a $20 when you first get on board. they will remember you ALWAYS and will never wait for a cocktail.
I have even gotten cocktails when the bar isnt open yet because of this. I got a snickers bar in my Bloody Mary, skewers of shrimp, bacon....nobody else did.

Thanks All....
Have cruised many times....First time with a CPAP (Getting old I guess).

OK folks need some quick help as i am cruising in one week on the Escape.
I use a CPAP. Will a simple power cord (US Style) suffice, or do I need a plug adaptor for those goofy Euro style plugs?
Anyone know what the voltage is onboard ship? 120VAC?

Since you can bring your drone....can I bring my crossbow?

You are good. No worries on the dress. I have had dinner in shorts / t shirt before in most restaurants.
If you have one , may consider a jacket over that shirt for the "formal nite" which is usually the 2nd night. But its optional. I havent done formal nite in 8 cruises and been fine. If that is you in the photo, then you will be fine. You seem to have some fashion sense. Dress Smartly.
Just be comfortable and enjoy yourself.

the mini suite bed splits into 2. Unless you have the special mini-suite ( one on every ship), then its a hammock strung from the ceiling.

the espresso machine was nice to have access to. Never tried the wine machine. and the little danish in the a.m. was good too. A tad disappointed that they didnt have the made to order omelet bar going.
in the late afternoon, Was a little disappointed that they didnt have someone serving the canapes in the lounge. How gauche. they simply left the tray on the tables and you had to serve yourself.
I thought the Lobster and cracked crab was a nice touch, as well as the beluga caviar that they set up every afternoon.
the whole pig roast was a bit much on day 2, and really crowded up the lounge.
By day 6 the novelty wore off, and the crew was a bit tired. Snack was a bag of cheetos, and a bowl of skittles.

5th day is 80's 6th is GLOW

The Grammy experience was where they would assign a 75 yr old to sit next to you all cruise long.
She would complain about everything, especially the heat, her arthritis, those "damn kids running around", and how the TV in the room doesnt have Wheel Of Fortune.
She would want to only play bingo, and would have dinner promptly at 4pm every day so that she could go to bed by 7:30pm.

I loved Ocean Blue when I was on the Getaway 2 years ago. Best place on the ship in my opinion.
The Asian Carp was exceptional. the Goldfish Sashimi appetizer was also good but the portion was small.

Personally, I think the "smoke Situation" pales in comparison to the problem of all of the "Over 45" ladies who drown themselves in awful flowery perfume.
Ladies, we get it. You are trying to smell nice. But you dont have to use half the bottle every time.

the last time i was on the Epic, I couldnt seem to find anyone that had any herb to smoke.
So i think you might be disappointed. The Epic Smoke situation is very dire.

And I am not kidding about this.....
Get some damn good, top quality marijuana in one of the ports and get stoned out of your minds and enjoy the beach.
Mom wanted you to enjoy yourselves...life is short.

When In Doubt, I highly suggest wearing the robes that NCL leaves in your room for use.
Nothing says I love your cruise line more than parading around 24/7 in just an NCL robe.
Surely they will have to allow you in all restaurants. After all...it was their suggestion by leaving the robes in your room.

Sure thing...easy explanation. Pay one fee...DRINK LIKE A FISH ALL WEEK.
You will love it....you liver will hate you for months.
Happy Sailing!!!

No paper cups but Cagneys and all other premium restaurant will serve you on paper plates and give you plastic forks.

Does their beer selection include Old Milwaukee Lite, Natural Light, Keystone, Coors Banquet, Rolling Rock, Milwaukee's Best, PBR, Old Style, or Schlitz?
We are having a family reunion and I have cousins coming from Kentucky and Arkansas

I have a lady friend going with on next cruise.
Is her "pocket rocket" allowed? it tends to get warm when left on too long.

To the original writer,
I completely agree....sleeping in is MUCH MUCH better.
For day of embarkation, I recommend sleeping in until about 3pm. Take a quick shower then run as fast as you can to the Port. You get to sleep in, should just make the Ship by 4pm, and you will get your daily Cardio in at the same time....BONUS!!!
For the day of disembarkation, I recommend sleeping in until they bang on your door and literally drag you off the Ship. After all, you paid for your trip, and by God, you should be able to enjoy every stinking minute of it.

it is utterly ridiculous of the OP to suggest changing the port simply on how 1 person feels.
I think this is a fabulous opportunity to experience a country's political evolution and even possibly participate in it.
they should come up with an excursion or three that focuses specifically on the protests and riots.
Maybe even have one that gives you signs to carry, flags to wave, and even torches.
Lets all get arrested in Barcelona!!!

the Leamington Hotel in Miami Beach is definitely the one!!!
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP....like $60 / night.
this place is a very trendy upscale rathole.
and with the money you save, you can easily afford the penicillin shots you will need after staying there

Cash is soooo overrated and everyone does it.
I like to give something personal. i get a refrigerator magnet or two from one of the ports and give that as a tip.
After all....who doesnt need a refrigerator magnet....its the gift that keeps on giving !!!!

Was on the Escape last year and saw a guy's kids rack up over $3000 in the arcade!!!! (YES...THREE THOUSAND!)
He argued with the crew, purser, etc. and they eventually dropped it down to $300
Set a limit, get her own card funded with cash. You can always fund more...its hard to do the reverse.
