we are sailing on the Celebrity Edge next year and I was just wondering if there are laundry rooms on board ? 

just to be able to iron creased clothing please .

If not are you allowed to take travel irons on board ?

Cabin 6224 should have the bed by the veranda.  There is no charge for the Solarium pool.  We had no problem getting a lounger around the pool on sea days, we go late morning (11 or so).

Also this may be a silly question but does the roof system in the solarium block out the sun rays ? Hence you don’t need sun cream !

We have booked Celebrity Edge stateroom 6224 panoramic ocean view , We are not bothered about seeing the top of the lifeboat from the bottom of our window as I do not like heights so would never look directly down . 

I am curious to know if the bed is position near the window so we can enjoy the beautiful view out to sea please  ?? 

 

Also so is there a charge to you use the Adults only pool and the solarium ?

 

Is it a struggle to get a sun lounger around the pool and jacuzzis on Sea days ?

so I have a few questions if you can help please x

We have booked Celebrity Edge stateroom 6224 panoramic ocean view , We are not bothered about seeing the top of the lifeboat from the bottom of our window as I do not like heights so would never look directly down .

On count down for my next cruise on the Sapphire princess :DWe were thinking of booking the Sanctury when we have at sea days as just curious at the price please ?

I assume you are in the UK. The UK has a no-license two way radios available that operate on 8 distinct frequencies and have an output of 0.5 watts (500 MW). That said then you need to remember there are 8 and only 8 frequencies so you will be sharing those with anyone else who has a UK or EU radio. The channels work such that only one person can talk at a time on each frequency. They are not very powerful at only 500 MW. The ship is constructed of steel which makes it possible to use magnets in staterooms on the walls and doors. Steel suppresses radio signals which therein lies the problem. While the radios will work on the ship, reception can be a problem. For instance if you are on the lido deck and want to talk to someone on 5 decks below in another section of the ship (forward or aft), you might not be able to do it. They do not work all over the ship between two pax as it depends on where the two locations are located. With that knowledge here are the top 10 rated UK two way radios in 2018.

We will be sailing on the Sapphire Princess around Scandinavia in May , we have a disabled relative travelling with us .

We thought it would be great if we could use walkie talkies to communicate , could you recommend any we can purchase in the uk please .

Generally speaking it will be restricted to one side of ship in certain areas. I suggest aft, terrace bar. Midships promenade deck, Lido Deck - under cover and upper area above. Indoors casino generally nearer the bar. What to look out for if you smoke or do not and wish to sit elsewhere are the ashtrays set out on certain tables. Then you can anticipate what the regime is in that area.
