  1. I have booked a Carnival cruise for June 2018. We are trying to decide whether to drive down to Tampa that morning (about a 9 hour drive) or book a hotel. Are there any good hotels that allow you to park at the hotel for the duration of your cruise and shuttle you to and from the port? Or, if we decide to drive down that morning, are there any reputable parking lots close to the port. We have always just parked at the port and never had any issues. Just looking at other options. Thanks!

  2. It has bee awhile since I cruised (2012). From what I have read, with the Cheers program, everyone in a room has to buy the package. Is that the same with the Bottomless Bubbles package? My daughters will be in their own room on our cruise in June. I have one that drinks soda and one that pretty much just drinks water. She isn't a big juice drinker either. I don't see anywhere on Carnival's site that says everyone in the room has to buy BB like it does with the Cheers program.

Also, I have read on CC the possibility of a change in the Bottomless Bubbles to include milk shakes?? Is that happening? That would definitely seal the deal for both kids ;)

  3. I have read, read and read through the FTTF threads and really have not found an answer to my questions, so I am posting yet another thread :D

I will be sailing in June 2018 on Paradise. I have 2 rooms and have purchased FTTF for both rooms. $69.99 per room

Question 1: We have an excursion booked for Cozumel (through Carnival)...would the FTTF be beneficial for that port? From what I have read, if you have an excursion booked through Carnival, all of those and the FTTF are placed on the same tender, so it would not benefit me at all. Is this correct?

Question 2: Our next stop will be in Mahogany Bay. No excursion booked, just going to enjoy the island. So I assume the FTTF would get us off the boat first (behind Diamond, etc.) and we would have a better chance at getting good chairs at the beach. Right?

Question 3 (and I'm done;)): It has been awhile since we boarded out of Miami, and from what I can remember the lines were a nightmare. This is what lead me to buy the FTTF. Is the FTTF worth it in the Miami port? How does it work? Do I tell them as soon as I walk in and get swept off to a magical line (in my mind there is glitter involved ;p)?

Yeah...I squeezed in a few extra questions in that one :halo:

  4. I hope I am posting this in the right area...I honestly don't know any more :')

I hear that the Carnival Paradise is going into dry dock February 2018. Does anyone know what changes will be made. I have seen threads on other Carnival ships but not the Paradise.

  5. Did this back a few years ago. Absolutely loved the boat ride!! I am a sucker for clear ocean water, so not to impressed with the quality of the ocean there, but we did come in right after a hurricane had passed so I'm sure that was the problem! But you will LOVE the island and everyone working there. No high pressure sales, just a completely relaxing day on the beach. Food was pretty good, just average. Plenty of chairs and hammocks. We did not have a crowd there with us so we were able to just enjoy the beach without the crowds. Definitely worth every penny!

  6. My family and I will be on the Carnival Paradise headed to Cozumel and Mahogany Bay in 2018. Trying to decide on excursions vs. resort day passes vs. beach on our own, etc. My kids (teens) want to "swim with the dolphins." Any recommendations on which stop to do this and which to enjoy the beach?? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
