  1. How can you tell which cruises on Royal Caribbean are the cruise with confidence cruises? Every test booking i do it mentions the cruise with confidence but then has a link to the cancelation policy that doesn't at all sound like cruise with confidence.  Trying to book for June 2021.

  2. I just got back from the Carnival Vista on 5/5. I had some questions about the IMAX before the trip and thought I'd give some information from my findings. So unexpectedly they didn't have Avengers. The employee says they never get any Disney movies because Disney doesn't let reduced price IMAX theaters carry their movies. Below is a movie schedule and information so you can get an idea of showtimes and information. Since there wasn't Avengers and I already saw Ready Player one and Rampage previously I only went to one of the documentaries (the National Parks Adventure). The theater is a nice theater, full size (was as large as my local IMAX).

  3. I'm leaving from Miami on the Carnival Vista. That's on EST. I have booked excursions at Grand Caymen and Cozumel that both have a start time. But I can't find anywhere that confirms is this going to be local time on Cozumel for instance (1 hour behind Miami's time) or will be on EST since we sailed form Miami. I've heard about about ship's time, but didn't know how excursions would work being off the ship.

Also if my excursion is at 1130, how early would you arrive?

  4. I'm actually not 100% sure. Do you know where I can check what is actually playing right now on the ship, or an upcoming schedule?

Haven't located schedule, but did find someone post on October 29, 2017 that they had Jigsaw, Geostorm, Bladerunner in the Imax. And Jigsaw came out October 26, 2017

  5. Are you sure it's even playing aboard? I sailed the Vista and enjoyed the IMAX but was under the impression that the "newest" new releases as those that just open at the box office weren't on the ship. Newer movies but not opening day movies .... maybe I'm wrong but you better check and not assume it's playing on the ship.

  6. I leave on the Vista on 4/29/18 and Avengers comes out 2 days before. I won't be able to see it before I leave and have been really looking forward to it so I'm wondering what are the crowds like for big opening movies the first week? Did anyone sail on the Vista when Black Panther or Star Wars came out for instance? And can I purchase the tickets in advance when I first board? I'm wanting to watch it on the first sea day (day after we depart Miami).

  7. I'm sending my parents on a cruise for their anniversary. They don't know about it, and deposit right now for both would be only $150 so I don't might the risk if they can't end up doing it. But their calendar is free then and I'll tell them long in advance but want to make sure it doesn't sell out and they have a good deal right now with half price deposit and onboard credit.

Anyway, can I use my carnival login to book for them? My concern with the new one is would need different email and phone number than mine, and I'm going to manage the cruise for them. And if I use their email they'll get the notification.

  8. I'm taking a one week trip to England next year and I was thinking instead of flying back that I would take a cruise back. It would be late summer 2019. I have 2 kids that by then will be 8 and 10. So I'm thinking the shorter ones might be good (like 7-9 days instead of the 13+ days). And ships with lots of family friendly activities. My kids loved it when we went on a carnival cruise that had a few slides (and we're going on the vista with them this april). But I'm struggling to find what cruise line to take and best options for that.

  9. So this is different than a regular gift card, it's pretty much a prepaid Amex. American Express has an option to redeem membership points for the gift card. But since it's not a regular gift card I'm trying to confirm if I can use it to pay part of the cruise itself, and pay rest with another card. I can find information about using it on the ship itself, but I want to get a $500 one, and send my parents on a cheap cruise that would be a little over $500.

I attached an image of what it looks like.
