We just returned yesterday and there were plenty of cabs both at the airport and cruise port.

Just wondering for those have recently been to San Juan airport.

We'll be flying in the day of our cruise (Celebrity Summit) next week, and I was wondering how is trying to catch a cab or should I get a service to pick us up? TIA for your info

I was implying no fault on the part of HAL simply wondering how things worked. The post re funding was very helpful.

I have been to Taize and appreciate its origins and style.

I agree that we do not always need someone ordained to officiate and certainly I have appreciated and learned from attending Mass.

I appreciate the thoughtful way in which so many viewpoints were expressed. The very word "religion" can be a catalyst for ill feeling.

That was certainly not my intention in asking my original question. Thank you all for the manner of your replies.

Cruising is a wonderful opportunity to meet so many different people and ideas......so is CC!!

Has anyone on any cruise sailed to these ports in the last month? I don't even know if they are open for cruise ships yet. In a month, the Equinox is scheduled to make these ports. From what I've read, neither destination is anywhere close to ready and while tourist dollars are important, it is far more important to restore basic services.

 

 

 

It is looking like the Equinox in December will be a "cruise to nowhere". I look forward to hearing from anyone with better information than me,

We are leaving on Saturday In San Juan originally we started in San Juan, Barbados, st Lucia, Antigua, st kitts and the st Thomas. Now we are San Juan Barbados st Lucia Antigua Martinique and st kitts....

My advice to you is relax they will find another port of call for you. There is no point of worrying over something you can't change [emoji4]

We've had to do last minute changes to our flights because of SJU shutdown Quite a few gates because of the reckage so they will mainly cater to US airlines

I have to leave the day prior leaving at late night with a lay over of 5hrs . Air canada got us a hotel and we leave bright and early to head to San Juan ...

Got a notification this morning that instead of St. Croix, we're going to St. Thomas, which was the original port. I'm very happy about this, as I've always wanted to see St. Thomas.

Celebrity Summit was scheduled for St. Thomas, last week it was changed to Martinique.
