Many many low paid workers are doing jobs were tipping isn't "the culture"...shop staff..office workers..call centre..etc. But imagine if some of them saved really hard to go on a cruise they'd be expected to pay other low paid workers a hefty tip... That's so wrong!

This subject of tipping is so boring and should be history in this day and age. Why on earth when we've payed thousands of pounds for our cruise are we then expected to cough up even more money for tips?
I expect the money we've paid to cover EVERTHING we receive, food, accomodation AND service wether on a cruise or a hotel.
And I refuse to feel guilty anymore because I go on holiday to enjoy myself and not to worry about people on low wages.
PS..My husband wants Cunard to increase the cruise prices and stop the auto grats then he can decide if he wants to pay the price of the cruise or not!

Hello Hattie
thanks for this it has made me looked forward more to our next trip in November on the QV.
On the card you were given I'm confused by the destination says Civitavecchia not Barcelona..../
When will you cruise again
in Cunard Line

I’m really surprised how so many are still prepared to go cruising. Me and my husband will never cruise again. Far too much at risk on a ship re infections at the best of times but to imagine getting a deadly virus like COVID 19 is not worth risking our lives for.
Watching the Abels and what they went through no thank you very much!
Sods law but another Cunard cruise we would have been Diamond status..hey ho.
