This is all very interesting but we are still anxious whether our cruise will go ahead on 16th November 😷

We are really hoping our cruise goes ahead in November, are we being unrealistic? Cabins are still on sale for both our cruise and the one before....

Fine thank you. Waiting philosophically for them to cancel our May cruise. We thought Brit Club was very good when we tried it. And I think the restaurant is the most spacious of all: certainly more so than the Grills.

We've never been fortunate enough to try the Grills, always been in Britannia, we've ended up in Britannia Club this time because I need an accesible cabin and we had to upgrade to Club to have that. Thankfully we received extra credit due to the cancellation which enabled us to do that. Who knows, if they keep cancelling our cruises we could end up getting enough extra credit for a world cruise 😄

Bit cheesed off that we should be on Queen Victoria right now, just hoping no further cruises will be canceled
How about you?

I can't help with cabin photographs but yes that's how Britannia Club works. You will have an allocated table which is available anytime during opening hours.
Wow, that sounds amazing! Thanks

We were supposed to board QV this morning but the voyage was cancelled so to console ourselves we have just booked this cabin (8092), can anyone provide us with more up to date photos please?
I am also interested to know how Britannia Club dining works. Do you have the same table allocated to you for the entire cruise?

I tried to do that but couldn't find the button for "Create new post" :(

We are booked on this cruise which leaves in less than 2 weeks. Cabin C322 if anyone has stayed in there?
I cannot find a roll call so I am very excited as this probably means we have the whole ship to ourselves :D:D

They do a hot breakfast panini which is not bad if you want something warm along with continental items.
YUMMMMMMMY :hearteyes::hearteyes:

Thanks, both. One of my enjoyments when cruising is to take on a bag of freshly washed shirts and put them in for ironing when we board, they come back professionally ironed. It worked out pretty cheap with Cunard due to the $/£ conversion which was fantastic at the time.
Good news about the continental breakfast as that's what I had in mind. I don't think we'll be in a suite unless we get a decent visit from the Upgrade Fairy :)

I have a couple of questions
Do you have to pay for food taken in your cabin?
Can you have washing / ironing / dry cleaning done on board?
If so, what are the costs?

Thanks for the replies, they are really helpful. I use a wheelchair sometimes, depending on how I am feeling so it sounds like I wouldn't have too many problems getting around.

I'm not sure how soon you want to travel but Queen Elizabeth is calling at La Rochelle later this month.

Thanks, unfortunately, this is too soon for us

I've not been on this forum for 6 years. We always sailed with Cunard so we are fairly familiar with most of their ships.
We would like to take another cruise but I would really like to visit La Rochelle in France. Cunard doesn't seem to be traveling there anytime soon but there is a cruise with P&O in October on the Ventura which includes this port.
I have Multiple Sclerosis so I am wondering how accessible the Ventura is? Also, will there be a shuttle that takes you into town, ISTR that Cunard was very good at offering this service?
Any advice would be very welcome indeed :):):):):):)

Our cruise in November has been cancelled but on a positive note we have used the credit to upgrade our August 2021 cruise to Princess Grill, we've had the chance to try this 😄
