  1. Did not know drink package on ncl doesnt cover harvest cay....

Coco cay was included in rccl I have like 6 drinks.

When you break down the cost of the cabin + service charges for a mx to a non guarantee to get the drink pack you are almost paying the 750 for two for the rccl drink package on a 7 night.

I'll pay extra to not think about a bull at the end.... I want everything covered...or as good as I can get it.

  2. Trying new drinks was great, I think I only tossed 1 beer. My wife tried a lot, but the bar tenders are great and ask enough that you are not going to hate your drink.

We first were thinking we would go on NCL just cause they had drink packs "included" but ( first time cruiser ) I found Royal to be an amazing experience, and would easily drop the money on the pack again.

  3. I grabbed the package on my Anthem of the Seas sailing 4/7 and had 10-20 drinks a day ( water / coffee / liquor / wine ) and not having to think of $10 here and $10 there was a huge stress relief on the trip.

My wife is a moderate drinker, and easily had 6-7 drinks in a day ( water / liquor / trying new wines ).

I was on the fence about getting the package cause of the price ( 750 for the two of us for 7 days ) but not having to think about a bill was so worth it.

Also traveled with 8 other family members who constantly counted what they were spending, and would skip drinks cause "I dont want to spend any more today"

( probably a repetitive post but figured there is someone like me out there... )

  4. I just read an odd review saying that they were trapped there until they got a lift back near the ship. But were dropped off at the wrong area.

We are going on our first cruise and just trying to make sure I dont do something dumb like miss my ship....Anyone done this excursion before? Any tips on getting back to the ship if its just not our thing?

We have a 4 year old daughter too so just want to make sure shes enjoying herself.

Thanks! Leaving in 3 days :D

  5. Hi, first post for me here. Read so much from other cruisers, excitedly counting down for 16 more days til my cruise.

I am looking to still see "We Will Rock You" and NorthStar.... and also Dreamworks breakfast.

When I see "Online reservations are not available. Please check onboard." Does that mean they are totally sold out? or is this more an online inventory that sells out faster?

If its sold out, I can take it.... I am traveling with 9 other family members so if they miss out I bet I hear about it for 7 days :)

    Any tips?
