  1. Mr Sanchos rents jet skis. As does Playa Mia and Paradise Beach, IIRC.

For ATVs you'll need an excursion. There are several companies in Coz. Some go off road some don't. There are also ship sponsored excursions which can do either. Those that have a beach stop included will probably not be stopping at a beach with jet skis.

Awesome I've been looking at Paradise beach so that's great news. Thanks for the tips!!

  2. We’ve done pretty much everything there is to do on Cozumel that doesn’t include getting hammered at an AI and these days we just go straight to Paradise Beach. We started taking our kids there back in the mid 90s before the property expanded to include a pool. My son and I have done tandem parasailing when he was younger. They loved the water toys. The pool is probably the best one in Cozumel that is available to cruise passengers. Service is excellent. The food is always great and now there is a “taco truck” and the fish tacos are some kinda good. We’ll be back there in October and I can’t wait.

Sounds amazing... thanks for your help!! I'm looking forward to it

  3. I have a review in my signature. The carnival dream review and disney cruise review.

We paid $3 entrance fee. Gets us access to loungers and you can use the pool. They do sort of expect you to order drinks or food. The food is good so no problem for us. You can pay more and get to play on all of the equipment and use some non motorized boats and things.

Kids are allowed. Very clean restrooms. Calm water.

you can rent jet skis close by. I remember seeing signs.

Thank you SO much I appreciate it and will definitely take a look at your review!!

  4. An afternoon at the beach club of your choice and then some time strolling around downtown before heading back to your ship sounds like a good plan to me. Paradise Beach is a pay-as-you-go beach club with great facilities, nice beach, HUGE pool and good food//drinks/service. $3 admission fee - the place is huge and you can always find loungers/chairs and shade. Taxi for 4 each way should be about $17, depending slightly upon which of the three cruise ship piers you are at.

Just looked it up and this place looks amazing!! I'll be here in May. Is the water calm and do they have lockers?

  5. I'm looking for information regarding paradise beach. How much does it cost for the day? How far is it from the port? Are there bathrooms? Adult only or kids allowed? Is the water calm? Are you able to rent jet skis? I'll be in Cozumel in May and trying to narrow down our options on what we want to do. Thanks!![emoji924]

  6. Would guess 3 pm or so but could be later.

Have you been on any other ships of this class? There are 5 and very similar.

Hmmm I always fly in a day ahead so wondering how this is going to all plan out when I have to be checked out of my hotel by 11[emoji848] should be interesting.... I haven't been on this class of ships yet. This is a first my husband and I started small royal Caribbean empress of the seas' date=' and carnival Sensation. Now we're moving on up to the bigger ships!! We definitely enjoy Carnival more than RC. We have become cruise addicted as they say, every year we made a tradition out of trying a new ship! Excited to cruise the Conquest and everything she has to offer

  7. I think the last April Conquest cruise is in FLL, so if the OP is sailing on the 1st May cruise, the ship has to re-position itself to Miami. Hence the odd departure time.

Ahhh okay I see what you're saying that makes sense. I'll be on the May 5th sailing so yes you're correct. Just wondering what time they will actually allow us to start boarding the ship in this case. Thanks for your reply!

  8. Is this the first time the ship will be sailing from this port? What port btw? If so might be coming in late from elsewhere.

We are back on the Conquest in October happy if finally got a serenity deck.

That' date=' I'm not sure. It's from Miami port sorry forgot to mention. This will be my first time on the Conquest, Even though it's far away I cannot contain my excitement!! Thanks for your reply I hope you have a great cruise!!

  9. I'll be sailing this ship in May and saw that we don't leave port til 9 pm on embarkation day. Is this true? I've been on 3 cruises and always left at 4 so this is new to me. Does anyone know what time they will allow us to start boarding the ship?? Also any tips or comments you have about this ship are appreciated[emoji4]

  10. Was just there in January we rented ahead of time grand Turk Adventures with Omar. He is the man. Kindest guy I have ever met... anyway it was us and another ship in port that day and there was still rentals available at alot of the companies. I think your chances are pretty high! Enjoy your trip!

  11. Thanks for this I have been very torn about doing a cruise on this ship for late Feb. my husband and I have only done the mega ships the last 2 times. Is the ship clean and refurbished? It would be my husband myself and a friend that has never cruised!

The ship was very clean and i constantly saw workers cleaning all day long as well. We were very happy with it but I also prefer the smaller ships so it's all about preference. If you do decide to go I'm sure you will have a great time!![emoji4]

  12. Nice pictures. Thanks for posting.

I'll be on that ship in August with the same itinerary:cool:

    Which room did you book?

Please post the pix if you have. Thanks

Hi we booked 2 inside cabins 4 and 4. We had a king bed on the bottom with a bunk bed above and another bunk bed directly across. The room itself had a lot of space I was surprised. My last cruise was on royal and the rooms on carnival are definitely much bigger. We were satisfied with it to say the least and the beds were so comfy!! Enjoy your trip!

  13. What was your issue with the main dining room? The food or the service? Did you have YTD or assigned seating. Thanks for posting the pics! [emoji4] sailing in 91 days.

I wouldn't really say the service although our waiter did seem overwhelmed at times, the service was pretty decent. It was mostly the food. Just wasn't good... over cooked and cold all of our meals were cold. We only went twice then made other arrangements for the other 3 nights. We had the early seating @ 6.... it was a group of 8 of us. Enjoy your cruise!!

  14. I figured I would do a little review on this ship since it's so hard to find recent reviews. I honestly had the time of my life on this ship from the moment we boarded everything was smooth. My stateroom steward, Ari, was fabulous in every way and always available for whatever we needed. The weather was perfect, all the staff was very friendly including the director Orlando who really knows how to entertain!! My only complaint of this ship was the main dining room was some of the worst I have ever had. We skipped dinner most nights and ate somewhere else instead. As far as the other food options they were all fantastic. Guys burgers were my favorite and there fries are heavenly[emoji7] overall I would cruise this ship again in a heartbeat we had a wonderful time on our cruise and sad to see it end[emoji29] We visited Nassau, Half moon Cay, and Grand Turk. Half moon cay was definitely the most beautiful island with crystal clear water and sand that felt like baby powder! We definitely had the most fun in GT and wish we had more time there. We only had from 11-5 and I wouldn't have minded being lost there[emoji854] what a beautiful little island and the locals are extremely friendly and accommodating. Not pushy at all like in Nassau. We rented golf carts from Omar and ended the day at the beach and margaritaville. Omar was the man he showed us around the island and we even hung out with him for a little and added each other on Facebook. What a great guy, can't wait to go back! I'll post some pictures from my trip below and hope all you future cruisers enjoy!!!
