  1. Disagree. Deck 6 is fine unless staying in a line 6024/6027 and forward where you’ll get noise from the Cabaret Lounge. Otherwise fine location. I've stayed there. I’ve also been in a cabin over the show lounge too. I didn’t find it an issue unless you are a cabin rat and you’ll hear rehearsals in the afternoon below you.

Just reviewed the deck 6 plans again...

You are right, deck 6 is a pretty good deck!

  2. Hi

I am thinking of a guarantee Veranda and am worried about Deck 6. Deck 5 seems to be public areas, cafe, theater, bars etc. so can I expect a lot of noise? The deck plan shows lifeboats on 6 so will it be noisy when they prep for a tendered port?

Never sailed on Azamara before so any help with cabin selection is appreciated. My points of reference are veranda;s on the Viking Sky, Oceania Riviera and HAL Prinsendam plus the typical mini-suites on the big ships.

    Thanks for the help

For all ships Azamara, you always want Deck 7 over deck 6 for veranda cabins.

Study their Deck Plans for a bit and you will see why.

Also the cabins reviews on this web site.

Can't believe I mentioned that, reducing my future selections!

  3. There are too many people on this tread who clearly can't read. I am out of here. You go right ahead and ignore what I wrote, and make up whatever interpretation you need...

I think people can read but they choose to "hear" what they want to hear. Seems to me it used to be that spoken conversations were the most apt to get twisted and turned around because one could never prove exactly what the word choice was.

What amazes me is when the written word that is there to be read over and over gets completely ignored and turned into whatever one chooses. I think some do it unwittingly and others do it because of their egos that cannot fathom that somebody disagrees with them and may have a valid point.

That being said, I know the point you are trying to make and agree with it but the execution might be able to be tweaked, as in...

"So, you suggest showing little consideration for others, and placing oneself first above all others is a sound philosophy? That attitude might end up taking some of the enjoyment out of it for those around you that have the same rights and expectations as you. I always try to realize that when I choose to be involved in activities with others that I need to take into account how my behavior and actions affect others as I hope they return me that same common courtesy"

    or similar

  4. "A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to, and including my life. That is honor and courage."

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, BUT rather to SKID In BROADSIDE, completely used up, totally worn out, and SCREAMING "WOW---WHAT A RIDE!!"

"I've seen better days, but I've seen worse. I don't have everything I want, but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up. My life may not be perfect, but I am blessed".

If the quotes in your signature reflect your beliefs, I really like your attitude
