Oasis class ships by far. Dual flowriders and the ships just have so much to do. They feel less crowded than the smaller ships as well. We're young in our 30's and very active so the smaller ships are rather boring for us.
Yes I agree - that maybe the larger ships are better for younger cruisers? We're in the same age bracket and fear boredom on the smaller older ships.

This upcoming cruise will only be three in a row for our group, but with two in the pocket, I'd say consistency is why we re booked again. We chose RCL simply n the itinerary for the first cruise. Really enjoyed all aspects of the cruise, so we booked #2 at the Next Cruise office while on board. The 2nd cruise was awesome as well. All aspects again were awesome. We even like the MDR. So we booked the Harmony trip for this March at the Next Cruise office again. I suspect that if we have another great trip, we'll sign up for #4 right away.
Rooms....Service...Food....Price....all top notch in our view. As long as it stays that way, we'll keep cruising RCL
That sounds a good reason to keep cruising Royal! :) Do you book directly with them or via a travel agent? I've only ever booked through a travel agent myself and wonder if its better to go direct! I cruised on Allure of the Seas in May and had a free drinks package included. Thinking of maybe Symphony next year!

For me I love the whole experience: the staterooms, the ships, the entertainment and the food! Would love to hear others thoughts on why you cruise Royal Caribbean time and time again?

Does booking through a TA offer more security? If you do it all as a package? Like flights / hotels / cruise etc? That might sway to book with a TA rather than direct. Security of money?

Really interesting to read and discover which size of ship people prefer. I've never sailed on a smaller RCCL ship, but I had the chance to see Vision of the Seas once and I thought it was in bad shape and in need of a total refurb. I think that when I think of the smaller ships, that they are much older in style. And that's the main reason I like the bigger Oasis class styles - I like the modern feel. Its not about zipling etc for me. i just like to feel I'm in a modern space and have lots of outdoor areas to explore - eg Boardwalk / Central Park etc.

I'm curious! Which do you prefer out of Royal Caribbean's big ships / little ships? I personally love the larger ships as there is more to explore and enjoy. I also enjoy how modern they are.
Do you have a preference of ship size for cruising with Royal Caribbean? If yes, why!

Allure is my favorite but will be on Harmony in Dec and again next Sept for the President's cruise, so hoping we like it as much as Allure.
We will probably do Symphony at some point just to be on the next ship in that class, but will wait for a decent price.
I'm thinking the same - shall I wait for a better price. I don't like the high premium at gets placed on the new ships. Harmony pricing may come down now I'd say with Symphony launching?
-
We find the best prices for suites (with few exceptions) when the cruise itinerary is first released.
Oh wow really? So would you identify your ship / area of the world in advance and then wait for the prices to be released? How do you know when they are coming out? I'd love to try cruising in a suite! Any tips are welcome. Thanks!

For me it was Chops Grill! The service was amazing and the food was also really really good. I really enjoyed Sabor to for something different. Although I hear many saying they don't like Sabor! I thought it was great and great value. They just need to expand the menu IMO.

Wow loads of you book far in advance! There must be good value to do this? Do you get better promotions and cabins etc or?

Its interesting to see so many people favour Harmony and so many dislike it? Also, do you think Harmony sailings will be cheaper when Symphony launches? I wonder will it become less popular? Based on feedback on Oasis and Allure, probably not but maybe it will be a more budget attainable ship for those who are price conscious once Symphony comes out.
There's so much choice, its hard to know what to do! :)

Is the Symphony going to have the slides?
Yes I believe so - the same ones as Harmony - 3 water and the Abyss.
-
Harmony is not as good as Allure. And from the limited information Royal has shared about Symphony, it appears they may be fixing those issues. So we'll see. But at the moment, we know very little about what is new and innovative on Symphony.
Oh really? Why do you feel Harmony wasn't as good? I hadn't heard that before and am interested? Thank you.

Hi all, I'm interested in the new Royal Caribbean ship, Symphony of the Seas launching next year and I'd love to hear others thoughts? I always enjoy seeing what new innovations Royal Caribbean will bring out on a ship, do you think Symphony will have any key features?
I've cruised on Allure of the Seas recently.
Would love to hear people's thoughts on the world's soon to be largest ship! Are you excited about it or no?
Why is Royal Caribbean your favourite cruise line?
