I've been buying jewelry from Imperial Jewelers for over 25 years.  My first purchase was from Charlie, the owner, but he isn't doing much selling any longer.  Andy was great to deal with when we were there several years ago but he was back home visiting with family last year so we dealt with Vicky.  Everyone there has been great to work with and everyone we have sent there has been very satisfied with the quality/prices and service.  Just a heads up, they moved into the Dynasty Dazzlers shop with Charlies daughter after the hurricane damaged the shop they had been in previously.  Happy shopping!!!

We’re doing a 9 day cruise on Jewel in January from Miami and then switching to Allure the day we get back. Does RCCI have a process for embarking before general boarding or will we need to find something to do to kill some time after we get off the Jewel?

I usually take reviews with a grain of salt, but under "Member Reviews", they are all recent and very consistent with each other...one right after another. :( I am not looking for anyone to "talk" me into the cruise I just booked, but would love to know if anyone has anything good to say about the ship. I have been on the Glory, Splendor and Pride, with Carnival. (many others on other cruise lines). Any positive thoughts?

We were on Victory the week it came out of dry dock, it was terrible, missing railings, crime scene taping off doorways and decks that could not be used, very dirty, stained and dried food on pool chairs and cushions in adult areas, our cabin was next to one they were still renovating so we were not able to use it during the day and each night prior to us being able to use it they had to run an ozone generator to remove the acetone smell coming from the cabin next door. No hot water in our shower for most of the cruise but our toilet did have hot water, guess something was hooked up incorrectly. We cruise for 4 weeks every year, this is by far the worst experience we have had cruising. We were offered an OBC and did receive a phone call when we got home offering us 15% off another cruise, I think we will try another cruise line next time. Hoping they got these issues sorted out so you have a wonderful time.

You need to connect one of your devices to your wireless router first. After it is connected you use that device which is technically your wireless router now. You need enter the IP address of your wireless router on a browser (chrome, safari, etc) and go to the wireless settings to connect to the ships wireless network. Once you are logged into the wireless, you just need to attach any of your other devices to whatever name you gave your wireless router.

It sailed but should never have left dry dock. They are still putting things back together and many restrooms throughout the ship are still out of order. There are a lot of unhappy passengers on this cruise. Twice we’ve had to request an ozone generator in our room to get rid of the fumes from some sort of repairs being done in the adjacent cabin. The main pool was green the day we boarded, which was about 3 hours later than it should have been.

We are currently on the Regal on Marina deck and don’t notice a lot of rocking even though the ship was doing some serious rocking in the MDR

Not always. We booked a 14 night East/West Caribbean cruise on the Regal last Thanksgiving. We got 2 cruise credits as we would have if we had booked it as 2 7 day b2b cruises. Princess, and the art gallery saw it as 2 7 day cruises. We even had to swap out our AIBP sticker on the room keycard on turnaround day.

Sounds like the same thing we booked, east west Caribbean leaving January 7th

We get the acupuncture treatment on the ship for seasickness, it has worked like a charm both times. We did the patch behind the ear a couple of years but got tired of the dry mouth side effects from it. I tried to get the treatment at home before we left but it did not seem to work as well. I could immediately tell the difference from the treatment onboard which makes sense when you consider they specialize in motion sickness treatments there more so than the acupuncturist we tried near home.
