WAIT - Magic's a/c isn't working?! We're boarding this weekend. My husband really might not be happy about this lol

I'm looking for something that is quiet (I don't want to hear gym clanging), has a nice view, and is available (which is almost any at this point). I read someone mention something about possibly being able to see down to the water on 11210. Anyone know if this is possible? Are the rooms normally being blocked by decks underneath them? I also read about smoke drifting in from a smoking area (maybe deck 5?). I don't want to smell smoke! I was considering 11246, just because there isn't anyone across from you, but what exactly is that verticle line in the plans? Ahhh. Help me decide. It's like I have too many options and I don't know what to do lol.

I'm reading some mentions of smoke smells blowing onto balconies in the spa decks. Anyone have specifics on this? I think we're going to upgrade to an 11th deck spa balcony, but I really don't want smoke smell to be a problem.

Better to call them and ask rather than depend on advice from a board like this.

I was really excited about the Cove balcony because I adore just watching the water. The only thing I was wishing was that we would have spa access for that fabulous pool. So, now we got an offer to upgrade to a Spa room for $88. Would you do it? I'm so torn! Also...I have $100 OBC and I can't see if it would take that away or not. It just gives you a form to fill out credit card info for the upgrade. Opinions? And if it helps...this is our 20th anniversary and only our 2nd cruise, so we're fairly new at all of this.

My price dropped $10/pp today, so I was putting in a price match. This might be a really dumb question, but how do I answer the "price protection" question? We're not fully paid for yet, so I thought they gave a discount off the total fare, but neither one of my options (onboard credit, or, upgrade) seem like that would apply. I'm fine if it has to go toward onboard credit, as I know it will get used lol, but if they just took it off my overall fare, I would prefer that.

Ahhh - I should have clarified. I'm not sure we'd have enough points for plane tickets to San Juan :(. We're in CA and I think we only have enough for domestic flights. I'm looking into that though.

I need advice. 20th anniversary, only the 2nd time on a cruise. If we were to do the Carnival Carribean, which one would you do? We love more historical locations and don't mind a nice sandy beach to relax on at some point. We don't really care about the big hikes and adventure type activities. I need suggestions as I'm in information overload right now LOL
