After checking the website every couple of hours during the day and just before I went to bed each night, today was my lucky day! I logged on this morning and FTTF was showing 1 ticket available! I snatched it up, lol, so my problem has been solved.

I have 3 cabins booked. The first 2 were booked at the same time, and as soon as it was available I purchased FTTF for these 2 cabins. The 3rd cabin was added later and so for I have not been able to get FTTF for this cabin. The 3rd cabin is for a single mother and her 2 year old, who have never cruised before. I am guessing she will have to board by herself through a different area and we will not be able to be with her. Is this correct? My son was saying he will just check-in with her, but he is in my cabin with FTTF. Can he even do that? Any advice will be appreciated. I don't even know if I can cancel the FTTF if I wanted to, lol, though I don't really want to. Thanks in advance...!

I see that there is a smoking area on deck 5 Portside and deck 11 Starboard, midship and aft. I have not been able to find any specific locations. It is a big ship and I don't want to walk to the wrong end, lol! Any help would be appreciated. We have a ways to go before our cruise, but I have to pass the time. It has been to long since my last cruise and I am super excited! Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for speedy replies. We decided to go with a regular balcony, but maybe next time we will try the cove.

I have seen pictures of the cove balconies and the railing appears lower than on other balconies. Is it lower or does it just appear that way? It almost looks like an invitation to sit on that white shelf like thing in the picture.

 

We booked our group directly through Carnival and we ask if the "free berth" amount could be applied as on-board credit and they did. I can't remember how much it was, but that, added to the group credit which was $100 per cabin, plus the FunShip dollars that I had purchased, was great. I loved getting on the ship knowing that I already had money on my sail n sign card!:)

Does anyone have any experience with the aft cabins on the Riveria deck. I guess it is not actually aft, though I don't exactly know what they are called, Starboard aft or port aft? Anyway the cabins I am asking about are 1408, 1412 and 1416. Are we going to get engine noise in these cabins?

[B][SIZE=3][COLOR=teal]I have ask this same question before, and the answer that I received was that they have tea every Sea day, in the afternoon. I was told to check the capers for the time and place. I have been on 2 Carnival cruises and didn't even know about the tea, but now that I know, I do not plan to miss it. I may not make it every day, but I will be sure to go at least once.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/B]
