I just watched a video from 2016 where the solarium on Allure of the Seas is converted into Club 20 One night during the cruise. Does anyone know if that is still happening and what night it takes place on if it does?

Thank you Nelblu for the email. I just sent my request. Let's see if they pay any attention to it.

Thank you both for the suggestions!!

I like meeting people at larger round tables in the dining room. I was in the Indy in Feb and noticed the whole dining room was 2 tops, 4 tops and family groups. What’s it like on Oasis class ships? Can we request a large 10 top and ask to be sat with People of similar age?

Hi, I am doing excursions in Nassau & Roatan and all this is adding up pretty quickly when you have a group of kids. Is there a nice beach in Cozumel that is easy to get to that won't cost me $55.00 pp (x 6)?

This has been helpful. Didn't know what to do in Costa Maya. Sounds like a trip to Mahahual is in order. In addition to Tropicante, what are other things to do in this town? Beaches to visit?

How do I book the shows in advance of boarding? Did not know that could be done.

Great pictures Kevin. I was on Indy in February and spent my pool time in the Solarium. Sailing on the Allure in October and can't wait to check out this area.

Just got off the INDY Feb 10 and stayed in cabin 8710. Loved it and glad I did not change. Made a video of the stateroom and posted it here. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/member/deckbydeck.php?ship=Independence-of-the-Seas&deck=8

The Independence of the Seas is scheduled for drydock in April 2018 and I heard from a very reliable source in the Food & Bev dept what is happening. I just got off the 05Feb2018 sailing. He told me that the starboard side of the photo area on deck 3 will be converted to an American themed restaurant (Icon Grill??). The disco will be reduced in size to 1 floor and the Deck 4 section by the Schooner Bar will become Izumi's (a Sushi & Hibatchi Restaurant). On Deck 11, they will replace the Squeeze bar by the H2O zone with a Fish & Chips restaurant.
I am sure there will be an overhaul of carpeting, chairs and repair work being done as well. Just wanted to get this news out there.
PS...My sailing on Indy was great, no problems, everyone was polite, sanitizer stations were used by 90% and that is important.

Does anyone know if there is a thermal suite on the Independence of the Seas? I found a video for Oasis Class ships but not Liberty Class ships.

Thank you ATC Cruiser and Chrissit, very helpful information and pictures. I'll stay put. I think I will also do a video and put it on cruisedeckplans to help future cruisers decide.

Can anyone tell me about cabin 8710? I saw a thread about a Frosted door instead of a sliding glass door and small balcony. I don't know this ship. Should I change this stateroom?

Falmouth offers easy access to Martha Brea river rafting, the Rose Hall area and Montego Bay. There are some wonderful beaches along this section of the island. I look forward to a few hours at the Hilton Rose Hall and a meal of jerk chicken.

Anyone have a recent copy of the Independence of the Seas 5night Daily Compass?
I would be interested in this when one becomes available.

We are traveling on the independence of the sea's in February and looking for a spot treatment we both can do together. Any ideas for a romantic spa adventure.

Hey recent past passengers of Allure. We are boarding the ship on October 21 and were curious what day, time, venue you had your Meet and Mingle. Our Day 2 is Nassau and Day 3 is At Sea.
