Hi all, I’m hoping to be cruising with my 6 and 9 year old grandkids next July on the dream. Do they use birth certificates, can they be in the same kids club? I have sailed on the magic and wonder many times with my kids back in the day, really looking forward to going back home with my sweeties. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I hate chair hogs, I’m on vacation too. When I go the solarium I take note of the neatly placed towels, the old visor and book, sometimes I’ll even take a picture for the time stamp, if the hog isn’t back in an hours time I seek out the pool person and tell them I’m moving the stuff, if there’s no pool person I just move it. Why does everyone let these people get away with this. I put up with it myself for years, not anymore.

So I’m confused here. We sailed just over a year ago and every morning I would Oder coffee and danish and fruit, I didn’t pay any surcharge, just a tip. Has this since changed?

Does anyone know if the ferries in Bermuda serve beer on board. I know our ferries here do, just wondering. Thx.

I just tried to buy the delux beverage package and it says all adults in the same room must purchase one also. My husband does not drink beer , soda or juices because he has been diagnosed with fructose malabsorption, everything has flown off the list of what he can have. I called royal and it was essentially sorry but your both must buy. So no drink package for me. I think this is crazy.

I was looking into this myself, however I think the window of time is too short. I've been to the magic kingdom many times and know my way around, even still I wouldn't do it. Taking young kids on a whirlwind could get very stressful for everyone. The crowds will be heavy, wait times long, and just getting from the ship to the ticket and transportation and then getting into the park will eat up lots of valuable time. Why not just wait and plan a Disney vacation in the future where you won't be on a time crunch and enjoy the experience much better. Just my thoughts. By the way, we are on this same cruise.

Carol, nice report, enjoying it. You mentioned you took a van to the port, are you from merion suburb of Philadelphia? If so where do you get the van to go to the ship? Hope your having a great time. Toni

There is no fee to cash out from your Obc in the casino. Basically when you go to the casino and want to draw on the Obc it's just as if you were making a purchase on the ship. I have done this on every cruise and there is no fee. If you draw against your credit card then there's a fee from the casino and your credit card company

Every cruise we've been on we have brought water. By the case with a tag, never been refused, or just a bunch of loose bottles along with Gatorade or cokes in our carry on.

I buy 6 beers, cans or bottles daily and always say I don't want them opened and it's never a problem. I bring a soft sided cooler and the first thing I request from the room steward is to make sure it's always filled with ice to keep the beers cold. You don't have to buy the cooler bag they offer to do this.

we are sailing on the summit in 3 weeks and not to sure about the drink pkg. as far as I remember 2 yrs ago you can only get one beer at a time and then have to wait a bit to get another. I like to sip on a few beers while sitting on the balcony so if I get the one beer do I have to wait a certain time period and make a dash to get another one. doesn't sound too relaxing. without the drink pkg you can order more than one beer, drink and not have to worry. any input would be great. thanks.

i've brought one for myself and enjoyed it at three different ports of call. i'm not one to just stand in the water so to be able to float around was so relaxing and i saved some dollars that i put to some good beers i mean use.:) have fun.

Transportation to cruise line
in Disney Cruise Line
Posted
Hi, we are traveling to Disneyworld first, my husband is flying in after our resort stay, here is my dilemma. We are at the resort and the cruise line wants $70 per person round trip to get to the ship and then the airport, my husband will be going to the ship from the airport with no transportation available from the cruise line, so how does it work for us to get round trip resort to ship, ship to airport, and my husband airport to ship and all of us to the airport after the cruise? Confusing I know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
