given the rest of blogosphere, the comments here are remarkably helpful and gentle.

I just had success (on day 2) with luggage tags, etc., so very grateful for ideas, etc.

I like this forum for its responsiveness to issues, so thanks forum, and the people who respond.

It is up to HAL to make this process seamless, and in my experience it isn’t. Asking me to go into settings to make their site function ( when every other site i use doesn’t require that) is inappropriate, the wrong way round.

With respect “only printing one PDF at a time” is gobbledegook,, it has no coherent connection to any part of the process, just obfuscation HAL should print out something understandable at that juncture, not something that leads us to guess or find “clever” ways to overcome the dead end.

The idiocy is the site says they can't print boarding passes for me, I have to do it. maybe they can print luggage tags.

If my presentation of events is accurate, Holland america has some issues to resolve re internet accessibility, and a positive pre boarding experience for its guests.

Holland America told me to proceed with boarding pass, just 47 days to cruise, then,,,

Getting my boarding pass took almost 2 hours, I had green checks over to docs, but got a ? Instead of a button when I tried for the boarding pass. I tried Safari, Chrome, eventually my iPad let me print a boarding pass, but balked at luggage tag printing. Said “ only one PDF at a time”, whatever that means.

I have booked hotels, Amtrack, flights, multiple times, no problem. I googled pop ups, ad blockers, and ,, quite frankly, Even if some poops or ad blockers are causing a problem, Holland Americabis the only place this is happening, so this is not on me, it is on the cruise line

I cannot get luggage tags to print, have tried Chrome Safari, on 1mac 2 iPads, and nothing. I did the popups, etc., to no avail Infuriating. It took and hour to get my boarding pass downloaded. Any advice? I will call Holland America on Monday. This should be easy.

We are suite “bottom feeders” in SY 8077 on Noordam out of Vancouver this May. 3 ships that day. What should we expect? Does SY get any boarding priority?

My wife and I have never cruised. We are on the Noordam May 12, from Vancouver, off to Alaska, 8 days.

1. I am 2 months out from hip replacement, and wonder how l will do in the lines on May 12, with 3 ships and maybe 6000 people waiting to board. Standing may be easier by then, but I would appreciate an guesstimate of what to expect.

2. Tendering ashore at Icy Strait Point. Anyone know what the lines are likely to be, both going ashore and coming back? I know the tenders take about 120 people, and hope the wait, especially ashore, would be short.

3. SY suite category i don't think accounts for any preferential treatment for embark, or disembark.

I have coffee in the morning, preferably room service in my stateroom, , and a latte later. Are those beverages included in the signature drink pack?

then at dinner in the dining room, or specialty dining rooms, or Lido, are my drinks of wine, beer, included? I know the mini bar isn't included,, and wonder what other locations aren't? I don't think my wife and I will consume $100.00 a day in alcohol! Buying the signature package, then finding a lot of exclusions, would be unfunny
