  1. Escargot was on the last formal night of our cruise a month ago. It didn't look any different than on previous cruises.

Now as far as the lobster is concerned, they did introduce Lobster Thermador as a test to see if passengers like it. If so, they will charge extra for it. The Lobster Thermador looked like the lobster used to look like. I talked to the F&B Director about the lobster and he said the prices have gone way up, it's hard to get and people are taking 4 pieces saying that "they paid for it" (in the cost of their cruise) so Princess has had to cut back on the size of it and start charging for extra. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just reporting what I was told.

  2. We had a B2B more than a year ago that was booked as one cruise but we had to pay for the photo package twice. We took a lot of pictures and actually got tired of taking them toward the end. I think we ended up with about 100 pictures. It was a fantastic deal at $99 (total $198). On a side note, we got Internet credit twice so that part worked out great.

  3. As others have mentioned, the shampoo and conditioner are horrible. Basically they are very drying. The bath gel and bar soap is fine. The lotion isn't very moisturizing but is a good hand lotion. As much as I hate to, I bring my own shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I don't want to risk a store near the port being out of the brand I like or not having it period.

  4. Hi, I'm new to Cruise Critic but not new to cruising. We were recently on the Crown and thought the food was very good. We especially like the Crown Grill and feel the $29 charge is worth it. We would have to pay a lot more for this type of meal at home. Also, considering she is going into drydock soon, she looked very nice and our room was quite comfortable.
