We took the FCC and booked the same cruise for the same week next year, but upgraded to YC.

Here are some photos of Sinfonia 9003 from June 2018.

Hello.
Any insightful tips for the Sinfonia?
How was the food, shows?
What did u do in Ports?
Thanks in advance
We had a good time. I am happy to answer questions, but here is my review.

In June, we went on Sinfonia which stopped in Greece in Santorini and Mykonos. However, we stopped in both of those on the same day - Santorini in the morning, then Mykonos in the evening. You do not get a full day in either one on this cruise.

When we did it in June, they split the excursion into several groups based on language, and you were with a group and a guide who spoke your language. Some groups might be combined if they had lower numbers, and the tour guide would repeat everything in multiple languages. Our guide commented that she was happy that she only had to do English with our group since there were enough English speakers to make a whole group, so she didn't have to repeat everything.

We were in 9003 on Sinfonia in June with 2 adults and 2 kids. It was a great setup for a family. There was a 5th bed that could pull down in the bedroom. I also have photos of the cabin which I could post.

For the March 23.2019 cruise my departure time shows 7 Pm SO I think YOU may be mistaken!
My documents for March 30, 2019 show 5pm departure.

Is it an adult only event? Wondering if I would bring my kids (age 9 and 12).

The one thing I wish they would change about MSC is ________.
The website is difficult, and I often have to wait for a long time on the phone. The customer interface needs improvement.
The one thing I hope they never change is ________.
Kids sail free! I have priced other lines and it is always more expensive with 2 kids, even when they offer supposed kids sail free promotions. MSC is making it affordable to vacation with my kids!

I was on Sinfonia in June. We got on in Venice, which is where most people did too. We did have our muster drill on the deck and we did wear our life jackets. On other days, I saw people carrying their life jackets for their muster drills as well, but I did not notice if they also went to the deck or if they went somewhere else.

They punched a hole in ours on the Sinfonia when we asked.

The MSC for Me app does not include Sinfonia, so you can't book the shows with it.
I was on Sinfonia in June and used the app to book shows.

We were just on Sinfonia in June, so I will try to answer from my experience.
Do most of the crew speak and understand English?
Yes, we had no trouble with speaking English with the crew.
Will most of the passengers speak English?
While it might not have been their first language, many passengers spoke at least some English. I did not have any problems communicating with anyone on board.
Some one told us that we will be paying for water at dinner, is this so?
My understanding is that Americans get free water at dinner. We did.
We are non meat eaters, will this be any sort of problem?
I don't think so.
Is most of the food geared towards Italians or whatever?
I think it was. We had no issues with the food.
Are the shows in English?
Announcements before and after the show tended to be mostly in Italian, and then they would translate the key points into other languages including English. I don't think they translated everything because it seemed like it went on for a long while in Italian, and then we'd get a sentence or 2 in English, so I think we just got the important parts. There was a pre-show warm up act before the main show most nights, and that seemed to be completely in Italian. We didn't understand it at all. The main shows often had songs, most of which were sung in English and some in Italian. But most of the acts were things that didn't require language, such as acrobats or fancy dancing. We enjoyed the shows. You sign up for a show either on the same day or the day before on the ship either through the app or on touch screens on the wall. There were at least 2 and sometimes 3 different times to choose from.
How is the ship, small, large, old refurbished?
I don't have a lot to compare it to. It seemed big to us, but we haven't been on any of the really big ships for comparison.

On our cruise, they allowed my 12 year old to age *down* to be with her younger sister, but I don't think they would allow a kid to age up. The tweens and teens were combined on our cruise, and my daughter felt more comfortable with the younger kids than with the teenagers.
On recent Bella bookings, what did you book and what did you get?

Booked two Bella inside guarantee cabins. We were assigned two Fantasica Jr. Balcony cabins with sequential numbers (nearby, but across the ship). We did not bother to bid on an upgrade as we are perfectly happy with what we were assigned. MSC Magnifica, Dec 2023 sailing.
