Thanks for your input but I'm a bit confused "show cats" the topic is "children"
The point was you should always have any documentation required, it's better to prepared and not need the documents than have your travel prevented because you don't have the documents.

You should be able to order wine by the glass in the MDR or any other venue (except Room service) as part of your package.

What's everyone's first on board drink they must get poolside??
whatever the waiter walks by with first!
Just have to make sure he's leaving the bar with fresh drinks, not heading back in from collecting empties!

Hmm, I guess the fact that there may not be enough room at the receptacle location for a 4 port (we have a 2 port) makes that a good idea.
Something like this?:
exactly like that. My wife has one and it works pretty well. It doesn't seem to do the fast charging for her samsung phone, but it does charge it just fine. for us, with 3 phones, couple of tablets, and an action cam that charges via USB something like that is pretty crucial.

That's a good option, but I recommend one with a cord. Pretty sure Anker makes a similar box with a 3' cord. That allows you some more flexibility.

The onboard production is pretty true to the original movie from my understanding. Smoking, teen love (and the not necessarily age appropriate behavior that goes along with it). It would depend on the kids and their parents if it was "appropriate".

There is a special drink in Labadee. I think it was called a Labadoozal or something like that. It is awesome.

Labadoozie. It's very popular with a certain blogger. [emoji106]🏻

Onboard has seemed to be in the $55-$60 per day range from the few live threads I've seen. I'd definitely book now vs waiting. As a PP said you can refund and repurchase if it drops.

Hi. Thanks but would it be possible to give me the full url?
Probably not. But if you Google royal Caribbean blog I'm sure you'll be able to find what you're looking for.

Sorry, mikmouse, the RCI website is saying March 25th....you just miss it!
Can you post the link where you saw that? I haven't seen it in writing anywhere.

Indy is $12 for the package but most drinks (as of the last couple of menus I've seen) are within that range. Top tier premium booze is typically more, but nothing I've seen indicates that you'll be struggling to find drinks within the package. The main exception seems to be wine, as there are fewer wines within the package limits, it looks to be an ok selection but not great.

They have hair dryers on board. I may be wrong but I don't think hair dryers have actual surge suppressors. It's something different I believe.
-
Another question: Is the main dining room open for lunch on port days?
No, sea days only.
-
Not sure what you're asking. As far as I know there is no more "select" package unless you booked quite some time ago.
-
Do you go through customs during embarkation?
-
Customs won't. Ship security will. Surge protectors on ships are more likely to cause fires because they can't handle shipboard electrical systems.

I wonder if anyone has ever thought to ask a hotel director on board why the policy isn't enforced. Perhaps many of the HDs agree that it's an idiotic policy and have directed their staff to limit enforcement to egregious offenders only (10 year old unwashed athletic shorts etc) because they are aware that it's the Caribbean and hot and it doesn't fit with the attitude of the cruise. I know the staff on board have pretty broad discretionary powers regarding how things are run on the ships so maybe while RCCL hasn't caught on, the rest of the staff have.
Regardless of my own musings the fact remains that what you can wear to dinner is not dictated by a piece of paper, but rather what the staff will allow in their dining room. If they allow shorts, then shorts are allowed.

Is izumi or Izumi express on Adventure? And has anyone eaten there if so?
-
I suspect they will probably care but I don't have any evidence one way or another.

Unless things have changed in the last few years:
There will be photographers in lots of places and they will occasionally have backdrops set up. You get your picture taken in front of the backdrops or other interesting locations. There is no editing that I know of. They may clean up the framing of the shot by cropping the photos but that's about it.
They do use quality cameras and they have good lighting setup so the pictures will be good but not amazing. (Amazing requires lots of time and photoshop, or an insane amount of luck, usually all three)
Think sears photos not glamour shots.
That's been our experience at least. We usually purchase a few photos, but we've never felt the need for a package. The photos we did purchase are on our walls though.
I'm sure you will be able to find some really special photos. There's no cost to have the pics taken, just pay for the photos you want. So take lots of photos. It's the mud theory of photography. (The more mud you throw on a wall, the more sticks [emoji2] )

This is happening after the cruise. Several people have reported clearing their on board accounts and leaving the ship with a $0 balance, then seeing the charges appear several days later. Best to keep an eye on the credit card for a couple of weeks post cruise. RCCI will refund the charges but you have to call to get them removed.
