We are looking at a 3 or 4 night cruise but wondered if there was anywhere we could find a “daily schedule” of the activities. We did a 7 day several years ago but wondered how many of the activities are removed on a shorter cruise. Mickey breakfast? Princess tea party? What nightly shows?

Docking in Savona on the Diadema and looking for family friendly activities (5yr old). Has anyone done a whale watching excursion from Savona? The other option is to go into Genoa and walk around town etc but think the 5yr old might get bored.

Squok club.... can parents go in or must you leave them?

Is it open in port?

Were There any English speaking kids?

Anyone have a kids menu...Do they have chicken nuggets/tenders on the menu? Picky eater!!

im looking at a Premium ocean view cabin in the Diadema. Thoughts on deck 1 Excelsior or Deck 2 Sara? I see lots of cabin legends but no explanations. Some have a square box, circle or both....any ideas what that refers to? Bed type, window type?

Is there a reason you are not bringing car seats? We never travel without our Cisco Scenara and up until my daughter turned 5 we even had it on the plane in the seat for her. Now we gate check it. Made it much easier for naps on the plane etc. You are correct that airport taxis and Uber's will not have car seats but you should be able to get private transportation companies that provide them.

How on earth do modern children even get to school? When I was 10, I went to school 15 miles from home and went there on the train. And I spoke to all the passengers on it while getting signatures for a petition to stop the train being cancelled. (I was 11 by then.) Do children really get to double figures without ever having the chance to make a decision - not even whether or not it's safe to cross the road?

Having grown up in the U.K and now live in the USA I will say culturally it is very different. I too walked and took buses to school Starting in middle school (9yrs). Here there is no public transportation or school bus system so we drive our child to school and pick her up and drive her to after school activities. The world of today is not the one I grew up in, freedom is very little due to circumstance and the prevalence of crime.

I'm new to this board but have been "looking" for a while. I am about to book a 7 night Costa Diadema from Barcelona in early June for myself, husband and 5yr old but after reading some bad reviews on this and other sites i'm a little nervous to proceed.

We are Americans (although i'm British living in the USA) and have cruised many times with other lines but this would be our first med cruise. Due to our selected flights this is the ONLY cruise departing Barcelona on that day so we have no other choice. I am not so concerned about English not being the primary language, isn't that why you travel? To see different countries and experience different cultures. I have however seen so many reviews that say Costa is not for "Americans" but unsure as to what that means. Of course everyone will have a different experience and you can't please them all so hoping for some insight.

Food - I'm a picky eater but if there is a steak or chicken option I will be fine

Entertainment - Do they have any English speaking live music or shows at night?

It seems that basic beverages (water, tea, coffee) are not included but I can add a drink package to solve this correct?

Hi. We are considering Costa Diadema out of Barcelona in June and am so confused about dinner! It will be me, hubby and 5yr old.

1. Anyone knows what’s on the kids menu .... she’s super picky!

2. I read the dinner menu is the same every night? Surely I’m wrong!

3. Any menus available to look at? I don’t eat pasta 😳

4. If we miss dinner I can go to the buffet correct? Traveling with a 5yr old needs flexibility.

5. I cannot get tea, water, coffee unless I pay for it or for a drink package
