I was able to add the kids to our reservation. We also have reservations for the chef's table during this sailing, so we'll get our date night that night and make the steakhouse a family affair. I'm just glad I realized before I was on board and it was too late to cancel!

I browsed the forums and everything was pretty old and not for Dream. Anyone with kids 11 and under that has used Camp Ocean, is it open the first night? We’re supposed to go to the Steakhouse first night, but only have reservations for 2 at 8pm, but now I’m worried about if it’s open or not. Otherwise can I get a babysitter the first night for a couple hours? Otherwise I’ll have to cancel my res. We’re sailing 9/2.

I’m doing a surprise cruise for my husband and my 10th anniversary. He knows there is a vacation planned, just not what. He had to request the time off work. It’s two weeks after the actual anniversary so I’ve decided to to tell him on the actual anniversary. When I was doing the online checkin info i almost put his cellphone number in but then changed it to mine and was glad because it sent a text alert! I’ll get him a VIFP after he knows but it’s our first cruise so I didn’t have to worry about discounts.

Good luck, I don't know the email, however I have heard that people have luck going the first day and getting it changed on board, however I know with littles it's hard to go on a hope and would rather have it locked down ahead of time. I opted for the later dining with my kids because we are from the West Coast so it'll be a similar time that they eat normally and am just not going to adjust their time too much.
