For the Freeport glass bottom boat excursion, it states that you can get your own transportation back from Lucyana if you stay on short. Any idea how to do that? What travel time should I expect to make the ship on time if we stay?

How old are your children? We have two (boys) traveling with us as well!

I do not believe they can be used on any other brand.

^^if not for the U.S. State Department, that would be true, but the federal employees would quickly issue you a temporary document to fly home.

If you do not have plans to fly internationally in the next 3-5 years, get the card. (Children's passports expire in 5). Save your money!

We are on the Pride with four at sea days. We will be off ship in all three ports. How much can we expect to spend on board during the cruise? Probably four smoothies and 4-6 alcoholic beverages a day - total - among the four of us (2 adults, 2 children). We have on board credit, but I am trying to figure out how much to buy in gift cards!

When we booked, I chose early dinner time, but I would like to switch to YTD. We have FTTF...any reason NOT to do YTD with two boys younger than age ten? How do I switch from reserved early dining to YTD and do I need to do that in advance of boarding? TIA!

So at the point of entry? Are they really strict?

Another question (may be or may not be related!) Can children wear water shoes?

I see there is a minimum height of 42" for the water slide. Do they measure the children at some point? How does that work?

My thing is, for instance, that we will not use housekeeping services, so I would prefer to tip (truly) generously to others whose services we do require.

Is there a downside to cancelling the auto tip on Carnival and just tipping the staff as they deserve to be tipped? I am a generous tipper, but I believe in tipping for service and tipping REALLY WELL for excellent service. I do not like the auto-tip, but do not want to mess over the staff either.
