  1. I have connecting balcony cabins on Navigator for next week :classic_biggrin: 🎄  I booked in late January through a large Cruise only online agency with a floorplan during the reservation process, allowing you to select rooms. I spoke with a rep to ask a few questions, and they ensured I had the connecting rooms. At time of booking, I had multiple sets of connecting balcony rooms to choose from (deck 7 aft). I do not recall if the same rooms were on the RCL site, but this agency had incentives that made it worthwhile to reserve through them. (I've used the agency for prior trips, which is why I looked for them specifically.)

    I wish you luck!

  2. I've been watching prices for my cruise for a while now (Christmas sailing)... I've noticed that when the drink package price goes down, the prices for shore excursions & such are up. :o Equally, when the shore excursion pricing is down, the drink package prices have gone up! Fortunately, I've caught low pricing on all the things I wanted thanks to cancelling and rebooking, but if you're not paying attention to prices, you could "overpay" for one item when you feel like you're catching a deal on another if you book all of them on the same day.

  3. Sorry, this is going to sound dumb, but I want to confirm:

If I purchase a Deluxe Bev + Voom package for myself and my husband, which we are required to do bc we're staying in the same room, we will have 2 devices with Voom, correct?

I want to clarify that it's one device per person, not one device per cabin.

    Thanks for humoring me ;)

    200 days and counting....

  4. Tower of London - Crown Jewels, St Paul's, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral, Harrods, Buckingham Palace, the War Rooms, London Eye, Museums and galleries, Borough Market, go to a show in the west end, Covent Gardens, Kew Gardens, London Zoo, shopping, Houses of Parliament, Thames cruise, Globe Theatre, Downing Street, afternoon tea at one of the big hotels.

I'll add British Library to this list. It's not frequently mentioned, yet has a wonderful free exhibit including handwritten music from classical composers, the Magna Carta, and numerous notes/manuscripts from British authors like Dickens, Lewis Carroll, Jane Austin, and the Beatles. They also host a paid rotating exhibit (currently Harry Potter History of Magic) and offer a quaint cafe with lunch and beverages. It's walking distance from the British Museum (home of the Rosetta Stone and more).

Agree with topnole & Giantfan13 above -- no hop on/hop off needed as the tube system is so easy to navigate. If you want the bus "experience" just take a bus instead of the tube to one of your destinations. I'm not kidding -- my then 10yo had the transportation system figured out in no time.

I love London -- can't wait to go back. Enjoy your time there!

  5. We are first-time RCI cruisers and are looking forward to our day in Labadee!

I am booking the parasailing and zip line excursions in advance for different members of our party.

First, is the time I'm selecting for parasailing the time of check-in? Or will check-in be even earlier? (Is it the same for the zip line?)

Second, is it possible to watch either of these events and actually be able to tell who you are looking at?? I'm thinking of booking them at the same times in the morning so we have the rest of the day on Labadee to relax and/or explore, instead of booking them at different times and attempting to watch the 2 events, especially if I won't be able to tell who's who. ;p

Thanks in advance for your help! I've already learned so much from perusing these boards.
