  1. I sailed on the Seaside in June in non Yacht club. We were out outside Fantistica. First MSC cruise for us and we were apprehensive due to reviews. We love love loved our cruise as did most of the other cruisers we mingled with. I would go again in a heartbeat!

  2. Only a small portion of the park is currently available, according to our guide. We were able to view La Coca Falls by driving to it instead of hiking. The tower was not open when we visited but it has since reopened. I've heard the views are amazing. There are limited trails available and we did do a brief trail walk. There are viewing areas and it is still beautiful.

Our guide picked us up at 8:30 am and we drove straight there. It's quite a drive so we were able to see more of the island and our guide gave us a lot of information about Puerto Rico, both historical and current events. We toured the limited access of the rain forest, stopped for a bite to eat at a local spot recommended by the guide and still had time to spend 2+ hours at a local public beach (Luquillo) before returning to the ship by 3pm.

  3. Our MSC cruise stopped in San Juan last week. We wanted to do a rain forest tour but we wanted to go to the beach too. We chose Louie's VIP Tours. http://www.louieviptours.com/index.html He customized according to what we wanted to do. He was very professional, yet he was friendly and fun. My teenagers loved it too. Even though the rain forest still has much damage, we still enjoyed our tour very much. They said the tower is expected to be reopened this week. We fell in love with Puerto Rico!

  4. I'm trying to plan excursions in St Martin and San Juan. I'm used to other cruise lines giving departure times on the excursion lists which is helpful in planning what you'll have time to do after an excursion. Do the MSC excursions typically begin soon after arrival in port?

  5. I don't have any pricing...but here are age guidelines for services....

Thank you very much for this great information.

Now I’m just anxious to know how affordable this really is.

  6. It’s my understanding that you can buy one package and link both mobiles to the same package. I called and talked to customer service about my party of three and they told me my party of three could use one streamer package and one of us could even use a tablet with it if we wanted to as the 4th device.

I’m sure someone who’s actually done it will come along to confirm.

  7. I’m traveling with two 17 year olds on the Seaside in June. They are interested in spa services. I’ve heard there was special teen pricing but I can’t find anything about it. Does anyone know about teen pricing? Also, regardless of the price, will they need my accompaniment at their age?

  8. I didn’t realize they are a partner. I just read the terms. Even though my reservation was booked in the past 30 days, my sail date is beyond the June 1 deadline. The redemption values are all over the place but I could have gotten $100 OBC.

  9. I'm a Carnival / Royal Caribbean fan who has just purchased Seaside passage for me and my 17 year old daughter and her best friend who is also 17 to celebrate their high school graduations. So I'm new to MSC but not at all new to cruising.

I've seen a mention of teen specials in the spa? Does anyone know the specifics such as what there is to choose from and what the costs are? I bought the tickets but they are paying for their own extras and they've already begun planning. :D

I'm new to the forum and I am very grateful for the wealth of knowledge presented here. Thanks to all who post!
