  1. lmb84 - I know, I usually don't dry my hair at all, but I have curly hair and since we're sailing at the end of October I thought it might be a little chilly and I want to dry it a little bit.  My at home dryer and diffuser is a huge contraption that I don't want to take the space to pack.

  2. Strange question, but does anyone know the radius of the nozzle on the hairdryer in the cabins?  I'm trying to avoid packing my own hair dryer and diffuser and want to buy a universal diffuser, but I need it to fit on the dryer provided.

If anyone has successfully purchased and used a diffuser on these driers and could send me the name/model I would be extra appreciative.

    Thanks

  3. If you have Facebook, go to John Heald's page. make sure it's the verified one. There should be polls and such. In the community section you can request a dining change. You'll need to give your room number and name and John will send the request to the maitre'd.

John Heald is Carnivals brand ambassador and a wealth of good cruise information.

  4. I know Carnival rolled out a new steakhouse menu to most of its ships, but I don't see the Pride listed.  There isn't another menu on Carnival's website so my question...Does anyone know if the new steakhouse menu is on every Carnival ship?

We sail on the pride in 2 months and want to know before me make a reservation.

  5. I would say Harbor East is nicer than the Inner Harbor, which is very much a tourist trap. Harbor East is easy walking into Fells Point which is a nice old neighborhood with good history, great bars and restaurants, and some local shopping.

The Marriott Waterfront is nice for I believe similar pricing to Pier 5.

McCormick is a great steak house, Rusty Scupper is a good local restaurant that is very popular. RA Sushi is also a much if you're in Fells Point/Harbor East.
