Does anyone know if the waterslides are open while we're in port in Orlando, Florida? We're not going to any of the (seriously overpriced) Amusement Parks and the kids (and I) are anxious to see what the boat is like when in port and everyone else is gone:D!

Thanks everyone!

I did try the Royal Caribbean website - they mention having a bag with you b/c it'll take a while for luggage to get to your stateroom (understandably) and they say you should get lunch at the Windjammer, but nothing about how long before you can enter your room. I did not realize there's an RCI forum on Cruise Critic. I'll check it out - thanks!

Hello all - and thanks for any info you can give me.
We've sailed twice on Carnival, but this time we're going on Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas. When we're on Carnival, there's a wait time after you arrive before you're allowed into your stateroom. Is this the same on Adventure of the Seas? (Maybe it's this way on every cruise? I've no idea).
Also, Carnival had "faster to the fun" to jump lines and be the first on and off the ship - is there anything like this on Royal Caribbean?

Island Lady yours was one of the nicer posts - and I agree with you. I thought I was using RC's lingo but I see that it's really "Orlando (Port Canaveral)"
