I was checking the fare viewer, and I don't see a category for my Havana Cabana. It's category HE. Does that mean there are none available? When I do a mock booking, Havanas are available on decks 6&7. I'm on 5- not sure if they are all the same category. So confused

Mine keeps going up- no reduction for us. ):

We were also on this cruise and had the UDP. It was great! The Cirque show is no longer included, and I had to fight for it. We booked this cruise a year ago and at that time it was included as long as you went on the first day- after several phone calls they "grandfathered" us, but while on the ship we met several people that NCL did not do that for. We paid $119 for the UDP and that made it very worth it with the show included.

You go to guest services. There was someone there that asked how many spots you needed and gave you that many tickets, then you got on line and purchased. I know the running part is not fun, but a necessity!! Hahaha

We were at the port by 10 and on the ship by 11 and ran for our lives to get the passes- we needed 6. I was told they only give out 60, but the funny thing is there were never more than 20 of us in there at a time. There are umbrellas for shade

We were on the same cruise, and your review was right on. LeBistro- amazing. I'm still thinking about the Lobster! Teppanyaki so good and such a fun show!We had the ultimate dining package and would do that again in a minute. Ship was really clean and service was good except for a few minor incidents. Agree totally about O'Sheehans, not so good.Although I enjoyed the fish and Chips there. I would however highly recommend the Vibe. It was my first time doing it and absolutely loved it. We had to purchase the whole week, but was so worth it. I sailed Royal 3 times last year and just don't care for that line- entertainment was so bad. Love the nightlife on The Breakaway. We saw Howl with the Moon June 2013, and it was great- this year just ok, but I really think they have the best entertainment that I've seen on a ship on any line. We had such a great trip and can't wait to go on again

Thank you for your review. Where did you purchase the tickets for the shuttle to the beach? Onboard?

Granny where did you play golf? My husband and sons would like to golf in June- did you book it through the cruiseline? So glad you're having a great time!

I keep reading that you don't need to make reservations for the shows- we are going on the Breakaway June 28th and I made reservations for the shows we want to attend on MyNCL
-
We also had no problem booking it for our June 28th cruise- I did everything over the phone, because we are a group of 13- maybe try calling
-
We have a group of 13 and made reservations for all the specialty restaurants. We each made reservations for 4, and were told to tell them at the restaurant we would like to be seated together

We sailed on Feb. 8th and had a great time but some things have changed since our last cruise with RCI. We have cruised 12 times with Carnival and RCI but to be honest our last RCI cruise was 7 years ago. We have cruised with RCI 4 times, once before on the Adventure of the Seas.
What we enjoyed about the trip
The itinerary was great with 5 ports.
Great weather and no rain (now we are back in the cold, burrr)
The ship is in great shape overall.
Service was great, room and dining room.
All the shows where good. Two production shows, a comedy act, and a Beatles show.
Some things that need work or change.
The room TV had no network channels and several of the available channels were in French, German, and Spanish. Lots of RCI infomercials. Way overdone for sure.
Our room had a musty smell that was noticeable each time we entered the room.
A sewer smell at times on deck 4 on the outside deck.
The big disappointment was the food. Nothing wowed us at all. Nice presentation in the dining room but most items were just OK and some even seemed bland. The Wind Jammer was a big disappointment. Nothing was bad but it just seemed they didn’t care what it tasted like. No deli, no oriental, and no self-serve ice cream. An attendant served the ice cream and gave you a small cone with no option for a bowl. Food is one area that Carnival does score better all the way around.
I guess the bottom line for us is we had a great time and no cruise line is going to be perfect. Carnival and RCI have great features and some not so great. As RCI says “Get Out There”. The Adventure of the Seas is a great way to cruise but just don’t expect perfection. Just enjoy. We did.
We just returned yesterday from our cruise on the Adventure and your review is spot on. We had a great time too, but experienced all the same things you did. The TV, the musty and sewer smell in room and hallways. And you are correct, the food was not good. We are not super picky people, but unfortunately the food in the dining room and the windjammer was disappointing.Believe me we didn't starve, but we had much higher hopes for the food. We were a group of 10 and no one ever finished their entire meal. We sail both Carnival and Royal, and we agree with you that Carnival has better food. The Adventure is a beautiful ship with great service, and we had a blast anyway!!

You are right- we saw a few families get caught sharing. They are definitely watching

We were on the same cruise- unfriendly staff and had to carry the cup. Funny thing is I brought a travel coffee mug from home and was told I could not use it to refill my coffee from the royal promenade in the morning. He said using the same cup to re fill was unsanitary. I ignored the first time, then they put up a sign, so I stopped. We had a great time, but not my favorite crew at all. Everyone was cranky!! Just a bad week I guess, but we had a blast!

Just got off the explorer yesterday- plenty of balcony smokers
-
My TA gets notifications about price drops and then passes them on to me!I also check, just in case. A friend of ours TA gave them a drink package for booking. I may try her next time!

Do they open on the explorer?????
-
That makes me feel better!! Thank you!!!

I would love some Explorer updates, and or reviews too! We are a large group going in July. It's the first on Royal for many in our group, and the reviews are saying she needs an update big time, broken glass, all kinds of damages etc. I know some exaggerate, but I'd love to hear some more recent reviews. We are all a little nervous, because its an expensive cruise. Although our group has fun wherever we go, still a bit nervous of her condition. Not talking the virus, that doesnt make us nervous!!The last few reviews we read weren't so good. I am going on my first RC cruise next week on the Jewel, but until then I'm a newbie!!!

I am sailing Norwegian for the first time this June. How do you find out about promo codes and upcoming deals, like free dinners in the specialty restaurants? I have always sailed Carnival and always end up with at least $500 in OBC, just curious how you get OBC on Norwegian? Really looking forward to trying something new!!!!
Looking for Hotel
in Carnival Cruise Lines

We rented a 4 bedroom apartment right in Barcelona for the few days before the cruise. Much cheaper than a hotel. We went on the Home Away site.
