This is our first cruise so we were not sure of the rules..

I contacted MSC directly and they confirmed our youngest won't be able to go in any of the main pools, but they can do in the kids splash pool 😅

I have just been told by a friend that children aren't allow in the pools wearing a swim nappy and must be toilet trained, is this correct?

Yes it will be refunded on the last day and will be in the on board currency. You will need to go to guest services to get the refund. They will not let you leave the ship without any remaining amount being refunded.

Going off topic from my original message, can you use cash on the boat or do we have to load-up credit using the wristband?

I have contacted Thomas Cook and MSC and they will call me back hopefully with some good news

We are going on our first med cruise June on the MSC Seaview.

We selected our cabin, as we wanted a high cabin on upper decks so we upgraded to the fantastica experience, we chose cabin 15205.

But we've just received an email to say that the cabin number has changed to 13024 which is 2 decks lower and not our chosen side of the ship.

Are MSC allowed to move us after we paid extra and selected a certain room? any help or advice would be most appreciated.

We are from the UK and sail on our first cruise in June to the Med and are looking to get out extra insurance.

We are worried that if there is any delay with our flight to Barcelona we would miss the boat's departure.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company which will cover flight delays and also if we miss the boat?

Hi all,

We have booked our first cruise on board the MSC seaview in summer 2019. I will be traveling with my partner and 2 children (aged 3 and 5) and first initial thoughts on the boat and facilities, it looks and sounds awesome!

First question: Before disembarking are we allowed to leave our bags with the boat, so we can explore Barcelona?

On this post I would also just like to ask if anyone else has traveled on this boat before? ( to my knowledge I think its the same boat as MSC Seaside? ) and if anyone has any tips or helpful advice you can give us as we are complete newbies to cruising! Any pics would also be most appreciated ;)
