Well I did reply that I didn't live in the area and couldn't respond on how noisy it was because I didn't have any experience.

 

I can hear it when inside Tivoli but it doesn't give any idea how much noise it makes inside a building.

 

 

I tried to help you by finding replys on the matter on TripAdvisor but you just gave a rude reply and then my willingness to help you was on a very little place.

 

Remember that I do this in my sparetime so I won't put up with everything.

The original poster was kind in asking their question and even said "thank you for all the help you provide to people".

You never mentioned you searched TripAdvisor so no one knew what you were talking about.

Then you remarked "excuse me", and said you live far away and can't hear the bells. This seemed like a spiteful and sarcastic answer IMHO. You comment on other things around the city but in this instance you sudden say you are not around. This hotel is in the direct city center so people found it hard to believe you are not around and gave an answer like that.

Then you thanked another commenter who said "you can't be blamed for not having personal info about the loudness of the bells", it just indicated that you didn't want to be bothered. Then when the moderators closed your old thread "Wonderful Copenhagen 2017", you replied it was closed for good reason as if to blame all the people you were mean to. There wasn't a need to be so nasty about it. They likely closed your post because it how people were being treated,and was past time to still be talking on a 2017, and to start a 2018 thread but you were still continuing on the 2017 thread, and by saying it was closed "for good reason", you were implying that you were blaming others and not yourself.

We are hear to talk about Copenhagen, and think we are better off without the sarcasm, and mean digs jabbed at others.

If you want near downtown, I recommend Scandic Palace. Nice breakfast included.

Were the bells from the clocktower next door a disturbance? Tried to get an answer from Danish viking on this thread:https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2488925&page=37

He never replied to my comment asking him if he's ever in this area to hear them, and it would have been nice to have first hand experience with this. Can you help answer, since there seems to be an avoidance to answer an honest question by a local.

Well my personal experience is that i live 38 kilometers from the town hall square so I can't hear it.

Most visitors don't stay 38 kilometers from town hall square, where you're not even remotely nearby between 800 and 2400 hours??:confused:
