I have a free cruise certificate for MSC. Before I try to call them I wanted to see if anyone here knows the answers to 2 questions.

1. If you book a free cruise do you also get the perks that they are offering to paid customers? The cruise I am looking at includes 'all in' if you purchase the cruise. 

2. The certificate is for any sailing 10 nights or less. Has anyone tried to book an 11 night cruise with this certificate? I am curious if it is a hard 'no' or if they just charge for the extra night.

Bumper cars were a lot of fun but were not running when we got on the ship. It was just set up for basketball. They ran the bumper cars on the 2 sea days but not for very long. If you get there and there is a line stick around because it moves pretty quickly and it is entertaining to watch.

Ok. Great, thanks. Do I need to bring any paperwork in addition to the SetSail pass & passport?

Does the Guest ticket booklet ever get updated before you cruise? Do you need to bring this along with your SetSail pass to the cruise terminal? After booking I bought a refreshment package & prepaid my gratuities. The gratuity payment is on my updated Cruise vacation receipt but not the refreshment package and nothing updated on my Ticket booklet.

I went that week last year. The weather was beautiful but the water was way too cold for me. There were a few brave people in the water but most were not.

I just booked a May 4, 2019 cruise. It is our 1st time on Royal. I thought we could book the iFly on the cruise planner but it is not showing up. Does that mean all of the time slots are taken already? If so, will there be additional slots available once on board?

We were on a disembarkation in May that was a disaster and we never would have made that flight. We had an 11:50 flight and just made it because the security at the airport was empty. We would have missed anything earlier.

Yes but to smoke on the balcony not in the cabin. I was recently on the Getaway and would have liked to be able to smoke on my balcony in the morning and before bed.

This was my first CAS cruise received from a land based casino. I earned 2,500 points. In order to earn 2,500 points you have to spend $12,500 in the slot machine (your money or winnings that you keep playing) at 1 point for every $5 spent. I can tell you that this $12,500 run through the slot machines earned me a whopping $25 credit to be used towards my final bill on the ship. This was disappointing. If I ran this much money through a land based casino it would have earned a ton more than that. I don't know what/if it will help me get a future cruise offer. I am only posting so any newbies will know what to expect onboard.

I took a nightlight with us on the Getaway for the bathroom...but never found an outlet in the bathroom. I definitely recommend something battery operated. The bathroom light is super bright and lights up the whole room at night when you open the door and woke up the light sleeper in the group. The light switch is on the outside of the bathroom so you have to turn it on before you get in.

Both vendors are fine with $100 bills. Thanks for your help!

I emailed the vendors and am waiting to hear back. It's much easier to pay in $100's! :D:D

Hi, we are going on a couple of non-ship sponsored excursions. We have to pay cash when we arrive. Can I pay in $100 bills or are smaller bills preferred by the vendors in Mexico?
