Looking for information on the 7 day sailing and 4 day land tour and what would be interesting to do on this cruise.

Do I understand correctly from BigDfromTN's post that we could purchase this tour after we get off the ship rather than purchasing before we leave home?

We would like to go to leeward side of the island. Would someone know the costs for a taxi and/or van to get from the port to this beach. We are trying to compare the cost difference for 6 people for taking a tour to just hiring a taxi.
