Thanks for the input. My thought was just to have a few drinks in a water bottle that I could sip while I lie on the beach vs buying them from whatever bars/restaurants are on the beach to save a little money. I was not planning on drunkenly stumbling around Kings Warf like a wino... LOL

With UBP can you take alcohol off of the boat with you. Say if you get a few shots of vodka in a flask and take it with you on your destination port.

I've been trying to get in shape and hoping to continue my weight training program on the boat. Is there a squat rack or barbell bench press? I just see a smith machine in pics. Just trying to plan for the cruise. If it's just a smith machine what brand is it or more specifically how much does the bar weight? Just trying to convert my usual routine for the cruise.

This is my first post on to the group. We've done 2 Royal Caribbean cruises and are doing our first Norwegian one:
We just booked the 7 night Berumda cruise for next April on the NCL Escape and I have a few questions. (Starting planning early).
1. We booked 3 rooms for 8 people. I'm assuming we can get extra keys to the rooms since we're not sure who will end up where? (i.e. someone may need a key to a stateroom that they are not booked in).
2. I see there is a game room. Is there a pool table, foosball table or giant chess on board? I see that some of the ships have giant chess. I couldn't tell if this one had it.
3. Are there any pools that are indoors? We just did the Anthem of the Seas and some of the pools are inside and some are outside. This was nice especially since in April on a windy deck it's a little too cold to be outside sometimes.
Thanks!
Trying to pick shore excursion in Nice (Villefranche)
in France Ports

We're going on a RCI cruise that docks in Villefranche. We are a family with 2 adults and 3 kids (7, 13, 15). There is an excursion that goes to Nice, Eze, and Monaco. it looks appealing since it's a taste of everything. My questions are how is a tour like this for a 7 yo who can get cranky? Also, we do not plan to into the casino. Apparently you need to dress up as per the rules. I'm assuming this is just if you want to enter the casino? I called RCI and they were not much help.
This is the excursion in question:
