  1. It was a great offer.  I wanted to take it; but husband didn’t.  The second call offered us a full refund for cruise and airfare, plus a balcony on a free cruise to wherever we chose.  They must have really oversold this cruise!

  2. We were offered a rollover on our Baltic cruise which is next week.  My concern is that we booked a guarantee cabin.  Since they offered us two rollovers in the last week, does that mean they won’t have a cabin for us.  My husband has been packed since June 1st and is raring to get on the ship.

  3. I just returned from the San Francisci to Hawaii cruise on the Star. I posted on my cruise personalized that I am gluten free due to Celiac disease 6 was before the cruise and a couple of more times because it never showed up. Well not to worry because the very first night at dinner our server, Jenny, said Mariano, the Headwaiter/Maitre'd would be taking care of my meals. He was very attentive. He would bring me the menu for the following evening, dinner and launch, and follow thru to make sure everything was properly prepared. When I informed him that we would be going to a specialty restraunts, he would inform them and even stop in to see if everything was fine.

  4. Miriam, my DH is from Hazleton; and I'm from the Philly area. We now reside in Danville. We've enjoyed quite a few concerts on Montage and at the arena.

We still have 10 more weekends to go! I'll let you know when I hear back from Colin. I have my fingers crossed. We were in Bermuda a long time ago and are very anxious to to back.

  5. I took Miriam's advice and sent Colin an e-mail for the four of us for a 5-6 hr tour of Bermuda. This is exactly what we were looking for. By the way Miriam, we are from NE PA also! I'm anxiously awaiting for his reply!

  6. My first ship was the most beautiful one I had ever seen. I went to New York City along with five girlfriends in 1975 to sail to Nassau and Bermuda on the Rotterdam. It was a seven day cruise and I shared an inside cabin with another friend. We had bunk beds! I think now that this was the lower steerage in the movie Titantic; but back then I thought it was everything!

I met a guy on this cruise and we were married 1-1/2 years later. Still are! We are still cruising. Our dream cruise is coming up the end of April when we will be in Europe.

We sent our son (he's in his 20's) on his first cruise last year and now he's hooked. He is single and looking so maybe he will get lucky also!icon7.gif
