Im not a fan of useless gadgets.  I would have tossed it out as well.  The only phone holder I need is at the end of my arms attached to my wrists.

But what about when your drink is attached to the end of your other arm?😉

I don't watch movies on my phone, but I occasionally watch educational videos and news clips - some of which are more than 30 minutes long.  Propping the phone up against my coffee cup works until I need a sip.

Looks flimsy I would have thrown it out

It's actually fairly sturdy for a plastic device. Also compact.  Could also hold a few coins, or breath mints, or a memory card (I still take a digital camera along).

    Universal portable phone holder

Thanks! I had to google that to see how it is used. Actually quite handy. I've only used the ones that are attached to the back of the case.

  4. I won this on the Breakaway, but I don't know what it's for. It has a very shallow compartment, too small for a key card. Reminds me of a note pad holder, but no paper or pen.  Anyone have a clue???

Once on board, the NCL app is actually helpful.  You can see deck maps, itinerary, your booked items, all kinds of stuff.  However, take one step off the ship and it's useless, no maps, no calendar, nothing you can use to plan your evening once you get back on the ship.  If you're not connected to their wi-fi it's like you're not even on a cruise. On another cruise line, once you've booked a cruise you have full use of the app, and I like that a lot better.

Although I use the app, we still ask for paper copies of the schedule delivered to our stateroom (old habits die hard):

It's handy when you're on the beach somewhere.

I was just on the Prima, and the decks never worked on the app. It opened one deck and never showed another. I went to Guest Services and the IT guy, but they  couldn't help.

It's funny, I was on the Prima back in October, but I couldn't remember if I used the deck plans on the app. After reading your post, I now remember having problems viewing the decks; I seem to recall having to touch the screen way at the very bottom to "pull" the deck into view - it was very frustrating and sometimes required a few attempts, but I think I was able to access the deck plans eventually. Thanks for jogging my memory😄.

Used Walgreens for the first time this morning. FYI, the results do indeed have a CLIA number.

That said, sooooo many people have successfully used Walgreens to cruise, there was never anything to worry about anyway.

    Hope this helps.

Mike, did your results come via email?

  8. To those who have had the rapid antigen test at a Walgreens:

I inquired at a local Walgreens today concerning the availability of a rapid Covid test. According to RCL's website the results must include "the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab's CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab"  etc.  The pharmacist said that they do not have a lab number since the test is processed in the store.

Has anyone had a problem with this requirement from a Walgreens test, or is this information not actually required by RCL?

Please share your experiences with this test.
