I was on Oasis in March and I was amazed how much the ship did move! I thought I wouldn't feel a thing but it was rocking so much one day they closed things like the zip line. I joked my 2 year old had his own flow rider in the h20 zone with the water rushing from from side to the other! So I guess it all just depends on the weather!

Just did this on oasis. However how they open is staggered. One opened closer to the room and the other opened closer to the water. Wasn't a big deal and we loved having the "common" area without having to keep being in each other's rooms.

I saw pool attendants removing towels but they left chairs alone that had other things. This was last week on Oasis.

So just went back and looked at pics. We sat next to the girls and a gentleman at the ice show. I don't know if you were the man or your friend but if it was you we were the family with the crazy 2 year old (and told us you didn't mind us passing by to take him to the bathroom bc you remembered those days!)

We are traveling now to get on Oasis tomorrow. Our TA booked it and all our papers say no charge. I just checked online and it's gone. I know you can't change anything since we embark tomorrow but everything else is at least still listed. Interesting.

Yes! We were on explorer years ago when our team won the national championship. We watched the games in a bar but I can't remember which one. There were lots of people who wanted to watch so I am sure you'll be able to on Oasis. We are hoping cruising during the tournament (we'll also be on Oasis later this month) will bring our Gators good luck again!

On their website it lists Harbour Village. Isn't that at the pier?

We are going to be in St. Martin on Oasis. We're taking a private tour with Bernard and I want to be able to stop at The Chocolate Box. Is it correct that they have a shop right at the Pier in the Harbor Village? Would we come across this walking back to the ship after our tour? Just trying to decide which location would fit in easiest (and not take a lot of time up). Thanks!

Are you calling or emailing? Some agents are on the ball as far as email goes, others are completely useless. I'd be calling until I had her on the phone and have her email me a confirmation while I was on the phone.

Thanks for the advice. I just feel like she is avoiding it which makes me not trust her. I don't think we'll be using her again, especially if she doesn't come through which what she promised.

We used a TA and received some gifts and OBC for booking with them and by a certain date. However, I have never seen in writing from her what was put on our reservation. We sail in 30 days. I feel like she is either avoiding it or just doesn't have herself together. So, if you have used a TA for an RCI cruise have you ever gotten this in writing on something like a booking confirmation? What wording do I need to use to tell her exactly what I need? She sent me a guest copy of our booking confirmation to show us that our gratuities had been paid but that stuff isn't on there. thank you!

I think you have to book this on the ship. One of the perks we got from a travel agent was that she was able to get advanced booking for this and she had to do it for us.

My son is 2 1/2 (will be 2 months from 3 when we go). Do they have toys for his age?

We're in the same boat here with my 6 year old. And going swimming makes it worse so I worry on vacation. Can't believe they don't have waterproof mattress pads...we used puppy pads before but they shift around. Will try the goodnight ones.

We were next to a service area once on Explorer. Stateroom attendants were in and out all the time (we saw in the hall) but we NEVER heard them in our room. I was impressed!

I would like to pay my gratuities ahead of time even though I am not doing MTD. I booked through a travel agent, but can I pay myself through the RCI website? Or do I need to have my TA do it? I rather do it myself, but didn't see where on my reservation online. I was able to book shows, specialty dining, etc myself so was hoping this would be there as well. Oh, and it if makes a difference we have already made our final payment. Thanks so much!
