  1. Thank you for all the info. I think we will get the cruise length social media pkg. There are two babies due around our cruise time. My sons girl friend has a little sister due that is a high risk pregnancy due the day we get back. Also a girl in my office is due two weeks after and I need to cover her duties. I hope she keeps her knees together til I can get back. Lol. But we can stay informed with one of these packages.

  2. I made an error in booking FTTF. I booked both people in one room and only needed the room. I finally figured out how to edit my order but before I do I wanted to give a heads up when I do. There will be one more out there so if someone needs it let me know and I will tell you the exact time I let it go. This may work out for someone.

  3. My son's girlfriend will be going with us on the Valor in April. She and her mother have been in the states for 5 years and have green cards. I know Passports are now required for sailing so I called Carnival regarding what documentation she needs. They didn't have a clear answer and suggested calling the consulate. The consulate sort of read an answer that was vague Will her green card and drivers license be enough to board? It would be devastating for her to be denied embarkation.

  4. My husband Rick and I live in Cartersville. We are on the Valor in April for my youngest son's graduation. We let the older two take a friend on a cruise the Spring Break of their Senior year. There will be around 25 of us from Carrolton, Villa Rica, Temple, Cartersville and Chattanooga.

  5. Went to Zumba for the first time yesterday. I joined a Fit Camp last Monday meeting Mon/Tue/Thr and wanted to stay active for Saturday. I had a wonderful instructer but I'm about as coordinated as a rock. At least the lights were turned down. It was a great cardio workout and I plan to do it again next Saturday. I want to lose 20 lbs by cruise time. We'll see.

  6. Items added to my basket

    Triple Outlet Adapter

    Make up Remover Clothes

    Glow Necklaces for the kids

A cool bottle of Spray Hand Sanitizer

    Mesh Laundry Bags

    Two LARGE Plastic Wine Glasses

    Cheap Sunglasses

Some Neat Packing Bags in size Large and XL

They have a handle and would be great for keeping shoes seperate from clothes.

A box of Dryer Sheets (to keep dirty laundry from smelling rank)

    Plastic Rain Ponchos

Ear Buds for the kids DSi

    Did I mention I have a rather large basket?:o

  7. I picked up a over the door shoe organizer. Tomorrow I'm going to the dollar tree to pick up a few things. All of the things are going into my cruise basket for packing soon for my cruise. I figure picking up a few things here and there, I won't spend very much money all at once. Also went to TJ Maxx and bought DS 3 bathing suits for 7 dollars each. Into the basktet they go!!

  8. 1. Buy a couple of photos on the last night only. You have every poses to choose from and won't regret buying a less desirable pose earlier in the cruise.

    2. Book excursions off the ship. The smaller groups are more intimate and more locally flavored than the hearding of many passengers on the ships excursions.

    3. Have the room steward empty your mini fridge and stock it with sodas that you brought on board. You can also keep two bottles of wine chilled in there.

    4. Limit yourself to one momento per port that reflects the locale. You can only own just so many t shirts and magnets.

    5. Buy only what you love. DH loves a massage at the beginning of the cruise. I love sitting on the Lido deck with a book and a bucket of beer.

He spends 100 bucks. I spend 20 and we're both just as relaxed.

    6. Take advantage of the free little things. Order milk and cookies from room service. They're the bomb and absolutley free.

  9. Our first cruise was without our children. I knew I would miss them. Before leaving, I purchased 5 blowup beachballs with smiley faces on them at the dollar store. Everyday I would blow up a ball and toss it into the pool with the kids. Listening to them squeal and watching them play made me think of my own. I became know as the "ball lady" which was very cool by me.:D
