After reading about product "smashbox photo finish primer" and what it does on their website I will be looking for the monostat anti-chaffing gel that is suppose to be just as good and cheaper- today! I hope it does all that it says it does. I will try it and report back.

Any substitute for the smashbox color correct primer out there?

I have checked several sites with list of pore clogging ingredients....can't find talc on any of them....so I"m going to give it a try.

 

I only paid $1.27 for the baby powder so I"m not out much if I don't like it !!!

Baby powders no longer have "talc" in them, haven't for a long time. Not good for babies to breath in. Most baby powders have a cornstarch base now. There are several "compact type" pressed powders that are colorless. Also the loose mineral powder is good too, and comes in all shades. S

You shouldn't "save" clothes simply for the ship! They are meant to be worn, so wear them!

This is so true. I have a closet full of clothes that fit when I bought them and then when I went to wear them they had shrunk and I couldn't get into them. :o

Enjoy them while you can wear them!! Don't save your nice things for some future event. Enjoy life now before it passes you by..S

For the first time in my adult life (I am 41), I am not plus size. But what I did was go to Dillards and try on all kinds of things, then look for them on ebay. That way I knew what they looked like on me and what size I should get.

 

And I figure if I get a $10 dress, I don't mind having it altered if I need to.

I have a new pair of red dance shoes and have been looking for a red dress. I find a lot of evening tops at Ross to go with black evening pants with the flowing overlay. (sometimes called carwash pants)

I usually take black pants and 2 different tops on a cruise.

Would love to have a new cocktail dress or formal for Christmas dance and New years dance. Usually everything I get is Black. Would love to try on the purple, deep green or red for a change.
