  1. I transitioned socially 3.5 years ago and medically a little over two years ago I did a cruise in September and another in November with MSC the second one had at least 3 other trans women a couple in the earl stages of transition.  I was treated like any other woman by staff and other guests some may have had a problem but I felt more comfortable than any of my previous cruises just being myself.  Don’t know if this helps but I find being authentic open and honest to be fairly well accepted by most people you do you and as long as your not in someone’s face about it it’s all good😊

An interesting observation and I would add often the initial conversations revolve around getting to the Port and the embarkation experience.  Among the conversation topics that always occur as the cruise continues--and particularly as the end is in sight--what are your disembarkation plans?

Religion and politics are always considered to be topics to be ignored.  I have tried to do so.  Yet, there are people with whom I have met on many cruises that share my opinions on these topics.  I have enjoyed many conversations with them about these topics.

In the most recent years, the most frequent political question that I have been asked by those who are not citizens of the United States was:  "what were you people thinking in November, 2016?".

Not going to happen soon, but I would love to have a conversation with the good people from elsewhere in the world about the results of the election of 2020.

I avoid politics and religion but on a few occasions I have been forced to rebut a fellow cruisers offensive comments.  On my last cruise I was seated with8 other passengers and we had a long discussion about politics, global warming, etc. and it was refreshing for all of us as we all had a wide variety of opinions but respected each other and made no judgements or considered that anyone's opinion made them a good or bad person it was nice to have a civilized conversation.

You can't argue with the app.  It's just evil. 😉  I am waiting until I'm on the ship to arrange my table.  I'm also stuck at a two-top, but I'd much rather be over there with you and everyone else at the big table.

The App finally seems to be working and i was able to reserve my times at a group table. 🙂
