  1. Hi! We are scheduled to go on the Carnival Magic in 10 days.  Our ports are Bimini, Nassau and Freeport. We already have a snorkeling excursion planned for Freeport but was wondering if there is any place to fish for a short time in either Bimini or Nassau?  We are traveling with a large group of 10 people and most want to go to the beach.  We have a couple of middle school boys that would love to fish for a little bit in between beach time and wondering what options there are. We aren't interested in a long charter or anything because we want to keep the group together.  was hoping for just a place to rent some poles for a few hours so they can cast off a pier or something.  Any ideas?  thank you!

  2. Thanks for all the replies! I actually am dairy free due to an autoimmune disease and usually only do almond milk creamer at home but I can tolerate the coffee mate creamers for a couple days(no dairy but just a milk derivative). So the cream and ice cream suggestions wouldn't work for me but thanks!

  3. a few quick questions: We leave for our cruise in 5 days!!! I am planning to bring on the small coffeemate individual creamers in a box (the kind that do not need refridgeration). Am I allowed to carry these onto the cruise in my carry-on? Or do I need to put in my checked luggage? Also, flying with these- do they break open in checked luggage with the pressure change? Can I carry these on if I fit into a quart bag?

I am not sure why I am so confused by all this. Will take any advice!;p;p

  4. We are booking the snorkel at Paradise Cove. We have our own snorkeling equipment but I have a question...do they require you to wear flippers? I have arthritis that affects my knees and it hurts to have that extra weight on my feet. Will they let me snorkel in just my water shoes? Thank you

  5. I must admit I am baffled by the comments that there is nothing useful to do in Orlando when folks arrive by 3pm!

Orlando is so much more than Disney and Universal! I can think of two dozen or more wonderfully fun things to do that has nothing to do with theme parks - Disney Springs and Universal Citywalk being the exceptions.

I call Cape Canaveral home and love my hometown and Cocoa Beach but we also love to spend nights out in Orlando! It is one of the most fun cities in all of the US!

Can you suggest some of those things?

  6. Hi everyone! My first post on these boards so if I look like a newbie, that's why ;);)

Anyway, we booked our fourth cruise recently but first one since 2007 so I feel like it's our first one again! We are taking the Carnival Liberty in August and traveling with a group of 9 (ages ranging from 2-60).

We are planning to fly into Orlando the day before the cruise and I cannot figure out the logistics of what to do. We have not booked our flights yet but the ones I am looking at will get us in between 12 and 3 pm.

Not sure what to do from there. Do we stay near Orlando airport and bum around there and then take transportation over to the Port the next day? Do we try to somehow get over to the port area that day and do something fun and then take a shuttle to the port (are there shuttles??). Just not sure what is feasible/reasonable and what others do!

The group that will be flying into Orlando is just 7 of us as the other two are coming in from a different state and will have their own plans.

We don't really want to rent a car for that short amount of time either. Help!
