I haven’t been on the Escape, but having been a cruiser at that age and looking at the deck plans:

lay by the pool

water slides

ropes course

sports court

hot tubs

mini golf

find a quiet space and read

Escape room

It really depends on what type of guy he is- does he like sports? Quiet time? There are a ton of options, just leave out the alcohol! No, there’s nothing like the teen club for him, but thinking back, there was no teen club when I cruised through my teen years. He’ll probably find a group of young adults and they’ll spend their time hanging out.

We will be cruising on NCL Escape soon and my son is now too old for the Kids club (where he would meet a lot of friends). What sort of things can he do on the Escape?

Planning our cruise on NCL Escape this August. Sadly, my husband will not be able to go this year due to his grad school requirements. Traveling with my teenage son, and if it is anything like our last cruise, I will barely see him.

I was wondering, is it easy to meet other people to hang out with occasionally (not every second)? I love to read, but would be nice to have another person to talk with or grab drinks or do activities. I have asked several friends but our schedules didn't work out.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.
