Bonus question: I thought that the main dining was pretty good on my last cruise (a lot better than Norwegian). Has that changed? If so, what specialty dining do you recommend?

Just one formal night. But don’t worry about the dress code. They let people in with shorts, jeans tee shirts and flip flops.

Just got off the triumph today and could not wait to get home. The ship was clean and safe but the food is just awful. Eating my wife’s spaghetti with meat sauce tonight and it will be the only decent meal I have had in five days.

All of the food is of poor quality and generally served cold.

Forget Carnivals dress code. Just got off the Triumph and on Elegant Night they let in people wearing jeans, shorts, tee shirts, flip flops and ball caps. I mentioned it and was more or less told to mind my own business.
