I had this happen to me in 2021.  Oceania was great when I asked to bring someone else.  My husband was removed and my friend added.  I wasn’t charged a thing.  So find someone else to go if possible.  
 

I am sailing with a group of 8 and only my husband and I have booked a suite.  Since we are in a suite reservations open up for us 30 days earlier than the rest of the group and we get 2 reservations per restaurant.  Does anyone know if i can make reservations for all eight of us during the earlier time frame?

I’ve sailed Oceania several time but never with a group so I have no idea how difficult it is to get the reservations and how early we should get them.

Last time we cruised out of Miami (Oct 2019) we had the same situation.  We rented a car for the day and visited some of our old favorite spots in Miami.  One word of advise, if you rent a car do it from the airport.  We reserved at the Avis downtown.  Took us over 3 hours to get our car.  It was a mess.  After looking at reviews this was how it always is.  That office has a one star rating.  

Thank you all so much for keeping us updated.  It is definitely making me more sure of my decision to cruise.  Less than 3 weeks.

So an update. I love Oceania even more.  Oceania allowed me to transfer my husband’s ticket to a friend.  No fee and no hassle.  Girls trip end of February.
