Tell them you'll be happy to accept an upgrade to Queen's Grill though.

WantedOnVoyag, Years ago flying all over for Business United lost my Luggage twice in one week. So I wanted to gate check and the Agent at the gate told me she could not. I explained that they had lost my luggage already twice this week and she better comply. She told me that she was a Flight Attendant for 20 Years and never lost her Luggage. My reply was that I had never seen a Flight Attendant check their Luggage in all my Years of Travel. She gate Checked it.

I usually check out both menus and make my decision where to dine from there. Its interesting that the MDR has had snails a number of times this year when we have not had them at all upstairs and then had they still had venison on the menu when it had come off the "Off-Piste" menu in Grills.
You do realize that you could have requested either dish in the QG, right?

It may all be in the translation. Perhaps there isn’t a difference in Italian?

If your husband does not smoke then why does he have a smoking jacket? I put mine on after dinner on formal nights and head for Churchill's.
Nice jacket by the way.

Hmm, booked Vista last year for next year. Vista layout shows all the extended balconies as A2, except for a few Solo Verandas, so this must have been something already in the works.

Last time I was on the boat there were always several people in the lounge, especially in the evening. I'll let you know in October, but it's a comfortable place for cigar and pipe smoking. Churchill's has a good smoke processing system, the air is clear and I have not ever smelled smoke outside of the lounge. Cunard does not allow cigarette smoking in the lounge, a bunch of cigarette smokers would overpower the air filters.

Thank you for pointing that nuance out. The British angle on this wording makes more sense but then Tips would be Teps??…. Another variation from an American site: TIPS: “To Insure Prompt Service”
Exactly, it was a show of good faith.

We wanted Hendricks and I tipped the butler up front, a bottle of Hendricks magically appeared and was refreshed in the middle of the journey. As long as you are reasonable and friendly the butler will try to help.

Thanks for your review, some issues but sounds like you had a good time.

I think one would be wise to arrange their own visas. The TA should be able to help. Depending upon Oceania to do it seems to be inviting disappointment.

Yep location. Cabins are the same and so is the service. Just depends on where you want your cabin located. I don't mind the Q7 at all, some think there is more motion in those cabins but I reply Look where the suites all are.

hmmm, maybe Australian environmental regulations?

When did YF vax become recommended for South America? Only ask because I went to Argentina and Brazil back in the 90's (for work) and was not advised to get YF vax. Company's TA was good about tracking these things for us.

Apologies, I was not replying to the OP initially.

The OP simply asked if masks were being furnished by O. No one was “panicking”.I agree people should do their own unbiased research. Also agree this discussion could go on adinfinitum unnecessarily. Please don’t fuel the fire.

Please, let's not do this all over again.
I can abide by that if others would quit coming here with Covid post. If one is scared, then please stay at home. Covid is never going away, no more than the common cold is.

I’ve posted a link from Annals of Internal Medicine 6/23 reviewing literature addressing this question. Their conclusion is that masking MAY help in both the hospital & community settings, but more precise studies need to be done.
Yes, and I can certainly post links that claim the argument either way. I merely want people to do their own research and to quit reacting in a knee-jerk manner. If you want to wear a mask, then do so, but quit publicly panicking over it.

Wow, never realized that coughing and sneezing was only caused by Covid.
You folks really need to go read some scientific studies on the viability of masks and virus particles.

It's all marketing, some nimrod sold management on changing the program and how everyone will rush to book. If it doesn't work then that person will get canned and they'll try something else, maybe even O-Life again. All we can count on is change.

I only book cruises that I intend to take. If something comes up then that is what the insurance is for. If life is changing too fast to plan a cruise over a year out then maybe you need to look around and slow down.
