Kathy from Brighton, Michigan. I think we may have been on the same Seabourn cruise as you and we kind of became friends on board. Did you take the cruise from Auckland to Sydney? I think it was about this same time of year. We were also friends with a couple from Colorado.
Dorothy
Hi Dorothy! Yes we are your friends from the Seabourn cruise from Aukland to Sydney in 2019...my how time flies!
Are you on the March 25th cruise to Rome on the Explorer with us? Would love to see you again.

Thank you GeorgiaPeach51 for your wonderful and informative blog!!! I've learned so much from you, just hope I can recall it when we get on the Explorer next week!!! This is first Regent cruise. We did Seabourn in 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed it! That was our first time with a luxury cruise. What a difference from the Celebrity and Holland America cruises we've been on!
Thanks again and safe travels.

Thank you everyone for your help in finding cruises. I hadnt seen many of these when I was searching,. I think i was entering June 2020 in my seach and nothing came up.
I would love to drive around the country and stay at B&Bs but the other couple we will be traveling with prefers sailing around so that we arent living out of our suitcases.
Thank you all again for your suggestions.

This one is only 15 days, part of the above itinerary

Also look at Oceania Nautica July 2020; Azamara Quest Aug 29 2020; Oceania Nautica 28 Sept 2020
Check out cruisetimetables.com and use ports in Ireland as Ports of call, or Dublin or Cork as departure ports. EM
Thank you, I will check this out.

Hello cruisers,
Has anyone been on a cruise that circumnavigated Ireland? I cant find a cruise that goes around all of Ireland. All the cruises that I see only stop in 3 or 4 ports and go to other countries.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Oh, we want to go in 2020, June if possible.

No worries :):)

Thank you MJN1,
The room is 1031 on deck 10, starboard side.
I'm looking at the deck plans for the Encore that are on the website. The map shows #925 to be one deck down and more in the middle of the ship. Were you on the Encore?

This room is on the other side of the Sky bar which is a smoking area.
Can noise and smoke from the bar be heard/smelled in our room or balcony? Is there a lot of traffic here?
I have 2 days to decide if this is the room for us.
Thank you.

Hello all,
I have a cabin on hold until Friday and I didn't realize that the Sky Bar is on the other side of my wall and that it is a smoking area.
The person at Seabourn couldn't tell me anything about the area behind the bar, if it had a kitchen or was a stockroom.
Will the smoke travel to my balcony? Will I be able to hear lot of noise from the bar?
Thank you for your input!

No, you do not need to pay for mixed drinks such as a daquiri. Do be aware, if you ask for a margarita, they will give you a frozen, blended thing so if you're looking for on-the-rocks and not too sweet, you'll want to give them some direction.
Thank you! I love a frozen strawberry daquiri!

Good info on the wines and I like the idea of asking for the list on the first night.
On another note, do you have to pay for mixed drinks like a daiquiri?
Thanks.

It's so good to chat with you too! I wanted to email you when we got home but couldn't find your email. Are we allowed to post emails here on CC?
We are sailing with Gary & Susan from Colorado. We are excited and can't wait!
I'm so glad you loved the ship. I'm sure we will too.
Keep in touch please.
