Wow, Royal suite, need to take piano lessons, baby grand in living room, we were invited for drinks in one last year ago amazing suite, most likely you will get a invitation to captains table also which is great
We recvd invitation to dine at the captains table for our 4th rccl cruise aboard Oasis 3 years ago. Guess lowly inside cabins have perks too! [emoji6]

So after final payment they will let you upgrade at the current price? This will be our first time I'm ROyal and I was aware of this.
Yup.....we also upgraded after final payment from an inside to a balcony! The balcony cabins were priced $9 less than my original inside! I too, scour the website after final pymnt and drive myself crazy.....but this time it paid off! I checked again a couple days after making the change to the balcony and the balcony prices had gone back up higher than insides so sometimes it does pay to peek! [emoji4]. Enjoy your cruise!

We are booked!!! Navigator, 9 nights in December! Let the planning begin!
-
Yup....did AOS southern 5 years ago and loved it! So hard to decide cuz I want to be comfy with my final decision. Hubs is no help....he just said to book it...although he would prefer the 9 nights.
-
I've gotta stop looking and just start booking.......
Now I've found a great price on the Adventure for December and it's 2 less nights than NOS but it's $1000 cheaper! Yes, air fare will be higher to San Juan vs to Miami but not $1000!! Plus, AOS is apparently going into a major dry dock in October so she'll be all spruced up!
Help me make a decision once and for all!

Cruise agent here..been on NOS twice, Freedom once, though been on Liberty ( sister to FOS) twice as well..one difference why I prefer the Freedom are the hot tubs in the adult Solarium pool area..on the Freedom, they stick out over the side, giving you sweeping views of the sea ( amazing!)..on the Navigator, they are inside the pool area with NO views of anything...other than that FOS a bit bigger & newer...love both ports of call, but go with the one with ports you haven't visited if that applies..any questions, give a shout...
Big Al
Oh yes....I remember enjoying those gorgeous hot tubs on the Oasis!
However, the ports on the Navigator seem to be calling my name! Pretty certain we are going to go with the Navigator now. Freedom class will have to wait for another year or so....or 5 as you can see from my usual pattern!
-
The extra night and southern itinerary are winning me over....even though I'd like to try Freedom. We did enjoy every minute of our week on the Navigator though! Decisions, decisions.....gotta book soon before the price goes up! ;)

I'm planning our 20th Anniversary cruise for December 2016 and trying to decide between the 8 night Eastern on Freedom or the 9 night southern on Navigator. We've sailed most of the Caribbean previously and we've been on NOS and loved it.....can I have some input from my fellow cruisers? I
have always appreciated the comments and suggestions from these boards. :)

How about white milk in the dining room for my kids? That is a staple for them at home. No pop allowed so I'm not worried about purchasing the soda pkg.
Also, are there any beverages included if you order from room service?
-
Which non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the different venues onboard the Oasis free of charge?
Where can we get good ole "Adam's Ale" around the ship and I assume it is filtered thru the ship's system? I also assume that bottled water is available for a charge and I've heard that we can also carry on a case of water?
-
Has anyone purchased the onboard photo package; either the disc with all your pics or the photo book? It seems a bit pricey to me and I'm thinking I could likely make a better photo keepsake book myself once I'm home with our own digital prints.

In my review that I completed last week has all of the cruise compass' from my trip last month. It was the western sailing but I'm pretty sure the majority of it can transfer over to the East.

Thanks!! I read your review and it was amazing!!! I'll take a look at your cruise compasses.

Any last minute ideas or suggestions for our quickly approaching Family Cruise aboard the Oasis? We are all so very excited!
My Dad has been seriously ill in the hospital for the past 5 weeks so I'm a bit nervous about leaving but thankfully, he has improved and I sure need some R & R!
Does anyone have Eastern compasses to share with me?
I've been pouring over these boards and planning like crazy and now the date is within reach! Can't wait to experience all that the Oasis has to offer!
Thanks for everyone's input!

Cosol was the best island tour we have ever experienced. We just returned from the Adventure of the Seas and I am so glad that we took the tour in St. Lucia with Cosol and his brother, Yellowbird. They were a lot of fun and all the stops for photos have given us some wonderful memories! The local food was super and neat to experience. St Lucia is a beautiful island with lots of hills and sharp turns which made the drive quite an adventure in itself! I would highly recommend Cosol and wouldn't hesitate to do the very same tour again in the future.

We were on the Dec 9 cruise also and have zero complaints!!! Ship was beautiful and we had excellent service from dining room and cabin staff. We enjoyed the shows and all the ship had to offer. It was our second time in navigator and I wouldn't hesitate to sail again! Have a great cruise!
