We got a private bus from the port entrance, where the free shuttle from the ship drops you off. Was €20 per person and we just turned up and paid. It left at 9.30am. Sorry I cannot remember the name of the firm but a google search will probably show the company.

I had a similar dilemma, i broke my leg and my ankle 4 weeks before my cruise. I was determined to go but worried about struggling. In the end I told the doc to remove my cast a few days before the cruise and hobbled around and went. Don't regret it at all. Any pain can be dealt with at the bar with their healing potions! It is a lot easier than you would think.

That is what i expected. Hope there is nothing that stops you Californians booking on these through the uk site. I know we can book direct through the US site if we want to.

Hi all
Was just looking on NCL site (uk) and it says there are some 1 night cruises on the Joy where you can currently book the Haven for £15 ($12) per person. Is this a regular thing to look for or a mistake? It lets me get all the way through to pay for it, just sad that I can't take advantage! Would like some for Southampton, I would be all over them!

I can second looking at the US travel agents and booking their free at sea offer rather than with NCL direct. I know you can't post specifics on here but a simple internet search points you in the right direction. Alternatively i booked our latest Voyage via a uk online travel agent and found their prices for AI were similar to NCL just cruise prices when we wanted to go. Where abouts are you in the UK?
Any recent experience comparing UK and US beverage packages?

The UBP-CJ code was under the all inclusive package offered in the UK. As that has now stopped and been replaced by Free at Sea for £99, the CJ has been discontinued, along with the bottles of water in the room. You still don't have to pay for gratuities for the drinks package though.
